Hi friends back with new part .
Part 9
Ishra were facing into opposite direction while ruhi was busy in having her milk holding Raman's finger ,soon her little tummy was full and she slept and her hold on his finger get loosed . He got and without looking back went out of the room ,to talk to doctor about the operation .He returned back to the cabin after talking to doctor and was hesitant to go inside ,thinking what will be ishru position when he saw senior iyers coming ,they were walking hurriedly knowing that they are late .They saw him and asked " where is ruhi ,had they taken her ."
R- no she is sleeping ,the operation is after an hour ,they are waiting for pediatric heart surgeon ,as soon as he will come the operation will start ".
iyers looked at him with questioning eyes when he nodded and spoke " yeah I had called the surgeon because I can't take risk ".
All of them came inside and saw ishita sitting folding her legs while ruhi was sleeping peacefully in her lap ,she was admiring little ruhi by touching her every features while she was sobbing slowly . Amma went to her and touched her shoulder ,ishita saw amma and broke in her mothers embrace saying " amma my baby is too small ,why murugan has done this with her ".
A- don't worry kanna everything will be alright .
I- amma she is just too small and they are saying they will operate her .
Appa- its necessary kanna to make her ok after that our ruhi will be alright .
I- kya bigada hai is nanhi so jaan be kisi ka that murugan is giving her so much pain in such tender age .
A- don't think so much ishu ,let that happen which is happening .
Amma and appa were go on consoling while ishita was just out of control she was go on crying bitterly Raman was noticing all this ,he so wanted to hide her in his embrace and console her but was standing in a corner as till now he was not their family but after much time when ishita was uncontrollable and amma appa too were crying bitterly he went near ishita and spoke sitting beside her " ishita why are you crying so much as if you are loosing before fighting the battle ,its common now a days ,soon our rooh will be alright , uncle aunty you people are also crying beside consoling her ."
They moved a little giving Raman space to sit beside ishita ,he without thinking for her parents wiped ishita tears and spoke hiding her in him " shush ishita why are you crying like this ,think positive and everything will be ok ,kuch nahi hoga hamari ruhi KO ,I will not let anything happen to her ".
Ishita teared herself from him and asked " ruhi will be alright na".
R- of course she will be ok ,she will be like actually not like but will be better than this in some days ,got that now stop crying and be bold as you were when you fought with your husband for her life ,now you have to overcome your fear of loosing her rather you should have belief that she will be alright ,now wipe these tears and be strong as the operation will start soon .
Ishita parted from him ,wiped her tears and spoke " yeah I have to be strong for myself ,for my parents and for my baby too ."
R- humm .
Then she again asked " use kuch nshi hoga na ".
R- I will not let anything happen to her ,trust me .
She nodded and kissed ruhis temple softly after her Raman forwarded his hands to take ruhi ,she without any struggled gave ruhi to him ,he hugged the little creature close till his heart content and spoke pecking her temple softly " be ok soon rooh ,then papa and rooh will enjoy a lot ,leaving mamma along ".
A bit if anger was clearly visible in his voice when he talked about ishita while she looked at him apologetically and ruhi smiled in her sleep too as if agreeing to him ,he showed this to ishita and spoke proudly " see my daughter has accepted me whole heartedly she is not arrogant like you ".
Though ishita was in so much tension but couldn't stop herself smiling on his cute complain .Ishita then asked her parents why they got so late today , amma appa seems to get worried listening to this ,they saw each other and talked something in action ,amma signalled appa to say while appa shook his head negatively and then spoke " we were stuck in traffic".
As ishita was too lost die to ruhi ,she cannot notice this but Raman saw this and thought to talk to them about this later . Some more time got spend and ruhi was still sleeping ,an hour passed and the nurse informed that they will rake ruhi shortly for operation ,iyers started crying again while Raman too went near window and pretended to look out as he trying to hide his tears ,he was holding himself because he wanted to be strong in front of ishita, little did he know that she is stringer than him as she has already carried gave birth to a baby and is taking care if a sick baby from last five months while this all was too new for Raman . Senior iyers were busy in loving ruhi while ishita saw Raman she walked to him and called him keeping her hand on his shoulder " sir ".
Raman turned and hugged her tight ,she was startled with his sudden action but before she can react she heard him " don't worry ishita ruhi will be alright ".
She listened it and realized that thought his words were spoken for her to ease her but it was sounding more like a question than consoling words .If it world be any other occasion she would had pushed him but she was noticing the genuine care and love which a father have for his kid in him which she never ever saw and can never see in her husband .She too hugged him back and spoke " humm ruhi will be fine ,we are with her na ".
Listening to her Raman realized what he has done ,he parted from her mouthing a sorry while ishita went yo her parents ,soon the nurse and ward boy showed up with stretcher . Ishita hugged ruhi close to her heart and then was about to lay her in the stretcher when Raman opened his arms ,ishita have ruhi to him ,he too hugged her kissed on her temple and spoke on her ears " get well soon bachcha ,then rooh and papa will enjoy a lot ".
Then he lays her in the stretcher and she was taken ,ishita was holding her hands which slowly got left ,ishita hugged her father and they all followed to operation theater .Ruhi was taken inside ,the door got closed and red blub was switched on .Soon the doctor arrived ,he was going inside when Raman walked to him and introduced himself ,the doctor assured him that he will do his best .Soon the operation started , all sat there and started waiting ,much time spend,Raman was standing next to OT leaning on the wall , Amma appa were sitting on the bench looking at the door waiting for it to open to get some news of ruhi, while ishita was sitting in front of idol of lord ganesha , which is in hospital itself ,for ruhis wellbeing.
After about one hour the red light turned green signalling that the operation is over ,Raman was looking at the door ,waiting for someone to come out and give some news about ruhi . After about five minutes doctor came out ,Raman walked to doctor and asked about the operation, he congratulated Raman and informed that the operation was successful . Amma appa got happy listening to this while Raman walked to ishita to inform her about ruhis operation .He touched her shoulder , she saw him and he informed that the operation was successful. She got up happily and hugged him tight in excitement while tear made their way from both pair of eyes . After a while they went back of OT and waited for ruhi to be transfered to the cabin . After about ten minutes they brought ruhi out and she was taken to room ishra, amma and amma went with them ,the ward boy lays ruhi in bed and nurse attached IV to her . They told that ruhi will sleep till next day so no need to worry if she sleeps for long .
Later in night amma appa too wanted to stay with ishru but Raman told them to go as they will only stress themselves staying back in hospital rather he will stay there with ishru because he can help ishita if its needed. Ishita too agreed with him but she don't want even him to stay but he insisted and informed his mother that he will not he coming tonight .
Ruhi was sleeping comfortably throwing her hands and legs in the small bed ,not leaving any space for ishita and Raman was there in couch . It was late night, Ruman were sleeping ruhi on bed ,Raman on couch and ishita was standing near window as she don't have any space left for her ,Raman got up in night to check ruhi and saw ishita still wake ,he walked to her and asked why she is still wake ,she told that she is not sleepy as she is checking ruhi .
Raman then told that he is seeing ruhi now she can sleep ,ishita again denied saying same ,he then told her to sit at least as she must be tired . She at first denied but then sat on one corner while Raman too sat in another corner .They sat for long ,looking continuously to ruhi not speaking anything as both don't have anything to talk except ruhi . After much time ishita spoke " thank you so much sir for being with me in my hard times ,actually thank you is a very small word for what you have done for us ".
R- no need to thank me as I had done this for ruhi .
Ishita looked towards him and spoke
" sir please I know you are doing much for us ,no one will do this for anyone but still I will say you are a gem of person and deserve the best and I m not even good choice for you ,please don't waste your time on me . Every time I see hope in your eyes ,I feel guilty that I m ruining your life ."
Ishita spoke this with teary eyes while Raman just saw deep into her eyes and spoke " I m good you need not to feel guilty ".
