Celebrity Fame Gurukul: Stars at heart too

Contestants and nation discover the emotional side of celebrities

Competition for a cause is the new mantra ringing at tinsel town! Ten popular celebrity non-singers have melted the nation's heart with their desire to help the cause at Make a Wish Foundation.

Always ready to help a good cause, the celebrities have come together to center on the suffering of the many children being supported by the Make A Wish Foundation. They and the foundation will attempt to bring a smile and alleviate some of the anguish from the innocent faces of the children.

Based on the same format as the hugely popular Fame Gurukul, Celebrity Fame Gurukul is mesmerizing the nation by revealing the emotional and vulnerable side of their beloved celebrities.

The last episode was witness to some highly unexpected and dramatic turns with the self professed bathroom singer Smita Bansal getting the largest number of viewers votes, while Tisca Chopra - who was always endearing honest about her lack of talent - being voted out this week. Hansika Motwani lost out to the biggest surprise of the week - the celebrities voting Bobby Darling back on the show! The celebrities, who themselves had been wary of working with Bobby Darling, unanimously voted her back onto the show, proving that prejudices can turn to favouritism. Bobby must really be quite a Darling!

But will the superbly talented Sunidhi Chauhan and soft-spoken Alka Yagnik think so too? Which star will be exposed to the nation next week? Who will sweep the country's votes? Who are the surprise guests getting ready to sizzle and woo the viewers in the next episode?

to be honest, now that fame gurukul is over it's felt like an exhausting process almost! i mean, now how can people be in the mood to get into 'celebrity fame gurukul?' i'm not saying celebrity fame gurukul is bad, but sony could have at least given us a bit of a break before jumping straight into it! i mean, me and most of my friends here in the UK don't watch it at all...we've found out who fame jodi is and now we've just stopped! but maybe the same is not true of the indian audience. and also, i don't know if this is just my opinion, but i think the FG contestants have become bigger 'celebrities' as opposed to the contestants who are on 'Celebrity Fame Gurukul.' Funny, huh? but maybe, again, i am speaking on behalf of all the people i know here in the UK rather than everyone else. 😛
