Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the 'it' couple of B-Town. However, the two have never come out in open to accept their relationship, but it was their constant appearances together at many award shows and functions which had put the tag of them being the lovebirds. It was at the 2016 IIFA Awards that Deepika finally accepted her love for Ranveer when she was dancing at the stage and was seen making heart and mouthing ' I love you'.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's relationship has always been in the limelight. Today, a report in a leading daily suggested that Ranveer had a small get together earlier this week for his family and extended relatives.

A source told the daily, "But Deepika has been very busy of late. She had been shooting and then was in a multitude of meetings regarding future projects and brand endorsements. Finally, when she found the time, Ranveer arranged for a family dinner. Deepika was the star guest at the event. Everyone met her and clicked pictures as well."

Now, Ranveer's official spokesperson has denied the reports and told us, "The report about Ranveer's family meeting Deepika over a social do recently is completely false, baseless and frankly preposterous. Such untrue reports undermine the dignity of not only of the celebrity but also affects his family - it is highly unfair."

Ranveer and Deepika are currently shooting for Bhansali's Padmavati. However, the two are not paired together in the film. While Deepika plays Rani Padmini married to Rana Rawal Ratan Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer will be seen as the antagonist, Alauddin Khilji.
