Hrithik Roshan denied the reports that he had popped the question to Kangana in Paris.
After months of silence, Hrithik Roshan finally addressed the controversy involving him and Kangana Ranaut in a lengthy and detailed Facebook post. He claimed that 'there has been no meeting in private" between him and Kangana, and if they did indeed have a seven-year-long passionate affair, how is it that there was absolutely "no evidence, no paparazzi pictures, no witnesses, not even a memento"?
Refuting Hrithik's claim, Kangana's lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee has told Hindustan Times, "My client was dating Hrithik, who was a married man at that time. And the fact remains that Hrithik never allowed her to take any kind of pictures or keep any kind of data, which would suggest any kind of relationship, for a simple reason that he had to protect his image."
Hrithik also denied the reports that he had popped the question to Kangana in Paris. "My passport details show no travel outside the country in Jan 2014 which is the date that this alleged engagement supposedly took place in Paris," he wrote in his statement.
On this, Kangana's lawyer said, 'I don't think Kangana has said anything of this sort personally. I don't recollect my client or her sister making this statement. This all has come via sources and not my client.''
Rizwan Siddiquee also maintained that Kangana has no reason to "fabricate a false relationship" and said that she "has fully cooperated with the law". This was in response to Hrithik's claim that he received "3000 one-sided e-mails". "I have surrendered all my devices including laptop/phones etc which are still lying with the cyber cell, but the other party has refused to do so," Hrithik wrote.
