Yes, He thinks she lied on purpose and so she cud get into trouble. But even then she might be taken into custody during interrogation etc, and might not want to co operate with the police, as her mother cud get into trouble and they cud torture her nah, to get out the truth.
Hence he doesnt want to go down that route. He is ok with not getting justice, but he cannot bear to put her in harm's way. Hence why
Wine ?? TBH wine is good alcohol. Well all alcohol is bad, but between bad and worse, Wine is a better option.
Especially if you were to compare it with Whisky or Vodka for eg.
Wine has abt 10 to 14 % alcohol, while Whisky or Vodka has 40 to 45 % alcohol, So its tht percentage of alcohol that determines how good or bad it is .
Also wine is natural made from grapes, where as Whisky is made from molasses in some cases, but there are many other ways of distilling it, which are not healthy.
Hence why wine is always looked upon as a drink that you can consume with food. Infact in the west, there is a wine for every meal. A wine that will bring out the flavour or a meat dish, or a wine that will go with desserts. So wine is always considered classy, and easy.
BUT I HATE IT !!! CANT STAND IT !! YUKK !!! i am a Gin and Tonic girl, which is another classy drink, but i am okay with it, as i dont get DRUNK EVEN IF I DRANK A BARREL FULL STOP !!! HAHA !!! and my husband is flat on the ground after just two glasses of wine, IRONY I TELL U 🤣
But having said that we drink very rarely, maybe at a christmas party, thats all.
