RKC is a show or rather only show where I love each of the characters and hate each of them too.

However, suddenly I have a feeling that the story is shifting to show Satrupa as a genuine mother to both Vatsalya and Anami. I mean they are justifying her character which was not required at all. She was wrong when she abandoned Anami. She cheated everyone. Let that be a mistake of her life.

It never was a story about male heir vs female heir. Vikram and Baldev refused to accept Anami because they believed it was Satrupa's plan to maintain her status and power in tge family. It was a fake daughter. Now, all of a sudden Satrupa is feeling hopeless about how she is just a guardian to Royal steel and everything she owns here is because she is Vatsalya's mother. Is this an accurate fact? I am asking this because Satrupa introduced Anam to Vikram and everyone by saying, ' Aap Nirvash nahi huye hai Papa'. The same thing was said by Guruji also. So, when did the makers realise that the khandan has a parampara of male heir inheriting everything?And if this Parampara cannot be challenged then how come Baldev never became the heir? Clearly, the rule of succession was changed then. Why did Guruji think Anami being a girl will be accepted as the heir when the Parampara of LM is otherwise? He was the one who reminded satrupa about Anami.

The day she delivered the twins she had three options

1) keep both of them- which she could not choose because Guruji's prophecy about delivering twins again had come true. She had to give away the eldest of the two to keep her children safe and alive.

2) giving away Vatsalya and keeping Anami- which now seems to be an impossible option after male heir vs female heir twist. Anami would have lived like a princess and both the siblings wpuld have been alive but despite the super sacrifice of givig away Vatsalya, Anami would leave empty handed and probably Avdhoot would have taken over as the heir.

3) giving away Anamj and keeping Vatsalya- which she finally did because she thought this is the only way to save her children, give them a better life and let the original heir take the throne. It seemed to be a better option because at least one of the child would inherit what is rightfully his.It was a win win situation for her until vatsalya died.

This way they are justifying Satrupa's character. Who else feels the same way?

I feel Satrupa thought Vikram would still accept his own blood over the male heir fixation. Now she knows she can't convince the old man.

I don't feel they are justifying Satrupa, since she still doesn't absolve herself for abandoning one child. Guruji pointed it on right - it was her moh Maya for a male heir and the status she would get in the family.

Where I find they are not clear is, if Vikram actually believes Anami is his blood, or he is using the parampara as an excuse to prevent an outsider from inheriting the wealth.

If he actually believed Anami was his granddaughter, he wouldn't have a problem accepting her and then quoting parampara. So, this could also be an excuse to not fall into Satrupa's trap.

I found parampara a new thing in this story. If its just an excuse then why isnt anyone pointing it out? How come Parampara was no obstacle when Vikram wanted Avdhoot to be adopted after clearly mentioning Pujan didnt belong to his clan. Is adoption a part of Parampara ? Certainly not because we know the last seven generation of Vikram didnt have a girl child. So, if its an excuse then its a pretty lame excuse.

I want Satrupa to remain flawed just like any other LM member. Its like suddenly Vikram turned out to b e a male chauvinist despite choosing Satrupa over his own blood Baldev. This actually is hwlping Satrupa's character. It like her decision of choosing Vatsalya over Anami was always right. Earlier, people blamed her to have abandoned Anami over putramoh.

Was that even required?

Satrupa isn't clearly a sexist to give away her girl child & the way she packed her bags, when Baldev says their relationship is over along with Vatsalya's demise, shows she wasn't interested in anything but the property, so that you can't say she choose BOY over GIRL for property, being a power hunger! what if it was their actual plot that Vikram is a male chauvinist? & she did it all cz FAM would never accept a girl child as HEIR! Dadu didn't choose Satrupa over Baldev cz of her abilities or something, but by disowning Baldev for his wrong, which also could be his selfish move to keep Satrupa in LM, even after she gets to know about Narottam! they aren't justifying, but tryna make it logical why she gave away her girl child.

exactly my point that she is really not interested in this property if she was really interested she would never be ready to leave everything when baldv asked after vatsalya death even in banaras she was ready to leave and those gita dialogue mujhe koi jamin jaydad nahin chahiye type

i feel satrupa gave anami because she first knew dada would never accept anami and there could be chances that he would attempt to even kill her like today he is not ready to accept her as granddaughter

but now vatsalya is no more so she want to fight for what is right

i dont think satrupa position was strong before vatsalya born

and this will later become base for anami to become waris

anami will fight for her right being a girl child so that next generation not suffer and that satrupa will make her realise later

And when did I say she was after property? This is not my notion at all. Its what her family thinks about her.

And if Vikram is sexist, so is Satrupa. The fact is the prophecy was about Vatsalya and not Anami. Yet the obvious choice for her motherhood remained Vatsalya. She forgot she had a daughter for good 17 years and yes she didnt want power or property at all because she would have committed suicide by now if Damo had not interfered. It was Guruji who reminded her that she had a daughter also.

The way Dadi welcomed Anami I never felt thy would not have celebrated a girl child after 7 generation. May be Avdhoot would have been heir but yet she would remain a family which she is not at this point of time.

Also, by paramparagat ways it should be Anami's son who can take the throne. Adoption happens only when the king is childless. How can Avdhoot become the King?😕 kaunse rajvansh me aisa hota hai?

Unlike how people would like to interpret the story, I have never got a feel that Satrupa was justified. Even Anami accused her of sending her away, since she was a girl... So that is one issue Satrupa couldn't fight- that still remains a flaw, since a mother abandoned her child and fact is, she had actually forgotten this child and Guruji had to remind her. That is still a crime.

So, I can feel Anami's pain in that she was not given a choice when she was thrown away 17 years ago, and now again, when she was forced away from her loving family. Even now Satrupa thinks she can make Anami forget all those years and mould her... NOT HAPPENING.

I am waiting for Baldev to wake up and shake her out of her current complacency in this matter. 😉

Exactly. My question is they hqve changed Vikram's stand on Anami. For Vikram Anamk was an impostor remember? If there was a parampara at all he would have said it to Satrupa before the dna test itself.

He was against the DNA test and it happened while he was sick. So he couldn't clarify it.

Anami is still an impostor and Sat and Guruji are not trustworthy any one.

But his best friend, Guruji knows he will come around, despite his speech on parampara. That is what Sat hoped for too. Fact is, it will take time for him to get convinced that this is his blood and by then, Anami has to prove she is equivalent to ten sons.

Then, Vik will sway - it's just going to take a little longer than Sat or Gayu expected. He is afterall , an Old man.

Hi Dey,

I don't think the makers are justifying Satrupa's behaviour or her choice. She chose Vatsalya because of the Moh and for me it ends with that. She is flawed and will be flawed through the series. There are grey shades to all characters in this story.

I genuinely think that Vikram & Baldev don't accept Anami beause they think Satrupa is power hungry and will go to any extent to prevent Avdoot from being the heir. They have not had any pleasant interactions with Anami like Gayatri has. Maybe just maybe if the writers can focus on Baldev and Anami equation where baldev can sense Vatsalya in Anami, the dynamics will change.

Baldev has to see Anami just like Gayatri had. The touch, the demeanor and Gayatri warmed up very quickly if you notice.
