I'm glad u loved it. n yes, this one ff will have a lot if connections with aviman in terms of friendship n so to make it more comfortable Sid will be kind of simile to Manish. but not that the story is of aviman yet the friendship is inspired from them..n the wake up call, I guess Sid deserves it . age difference is something that was subtle in Rosid's relation even in the show, so I felt not to change it. that's it. glad to see ur comment

ayyo ithaara? really happy to see u dear. n somewhere in 7 days is related to niram as I already told u. n nandu often we trust our friends n get in to trouble but on a serious note it's fun. n I'm updating soon, that's in few minutes, so don't plead.
abt Hindi all of us r in sane page, don't know y these teachers r hell bent in making the marking strict. faced the same back in my school days n likely that face even now. n abt ur friend , sry I don't know her dear coz I'm little low in watching mallu movies or should I say all movies. I have no patience to bear anything else than aviman. so, I remain happily unaware of all other films n stuff

CHAPTER 2




While Roli and Sid are busy with the work, Anita enters the room with two mugs of coffee and a plate sandwiches. Finding the duo thoroughly engrossed with the record, she shakes her head in despair, understanding what might have happened.


"I knew it! Told you Roli, your best friend is very irresponsible. I knew it from the first that he won't complete the work.' says Anita keeping the tray on the table.


"Acchha, so if you knew it then why didn't you come and finish it mom? At least, I would have saved my sleep. Now see, sleep gone and got a nice kick right in the morning itself!' says Siddhant not raising his head from the book. Anita slowly turns her face from Sid to Roli, who is biting her nails, with the stupidest smile ever.



"Roli?' Anita questions while Roli nods like little kid does. Anita tries to smother her laughter and so does Roli, it's only Sid who's watching them with a complaining face.



"Very good. You just gave one? If yes, I would say it was less! He actually deserves much more for his carefree nature.' Anita comments breaking in to a wide grin.


"Just have a look of this lady! Her son got a nice kick in the back and here she's grinning!' Sid says dramatically while Roli and Anita break in to laughter.


"Should I tell you Sid? You look so cute when you're angry.' says Roli ruffling Sid's hair. Sid gives Roli a look while Anita smirks honestly being so happy at their togetherness.



"Come on both of you now. Have coffee.' says Anita placing the tray near them.


"Fine then. Roli, draw the margins now. I'll be back after freshening up. Mummy! It's still paining' says Sid getting up holding his back dramatically and moves to the wardrobe. Taking a look of Roli who's all sad seeing his troubled steps, he picks up his towel with a grin and leaves to the washroom. Now to be honest it doesn't hurt that much, but as always, Sid loves to tease Roli and so he simply pretends.


"Aunty, I think his back still hurts. I kicked him just because I was angry. Now see, how he's troubling?' says Roli with an upset face while Anita smiles and sits beside her.


"Oh come on beta, leave it. He's just exaggerating it to tease you. And here you're worrying knowing that! Don't waste time. Complete the works fast. I'll be kitchen okay.' says Anita giving a loving tap on Roli's face. She smiles and again turns to work as Anita gets up and leaves.


A while later. Sid gets back from the washroom and sits on the bed drying his hair, looking at Roli who's busy with the margins.


"Coffee might have got cold. Let me go and get another two cups.' says Roli getting up, while Sid pulls her back.


"It will be enough hot. You know right, Mom usually gets coffee in a state where it can burn our mouths. So it will be fine now.' says him getting a cup for himself and other for her.


"Aunty knows that we'll drink only after half an hour after she gets it. That's why she does so.' says Roli taking a sip. Meanwhile Sid gets back to the record and starts sketching while he sips his coffee.


"Hmm. the sandwich is really yum today. see.' says Roli as she feeds him one. Sid takes one bite from her and chews it while he's still busy with the work. Just then, he feels Roli caressing his back and turns back to see her.


"Does it hurt?' she asks in a low voice leaning on his back. Sid smiles and pulls her to front, to see her face which is dull with concern. honestly he can't get enough of this cute side of hers.


"Ae pagli! What's this dull face? I've been kidding yaar! And what do you think; such a silly creature like you can hurt me? In your dreams baby!' Sid teases to cheer her up while Roli grins and smacks him with a pillow.


"It doesn't mean you can do all these. Sit down! Let me do your work or this semester will be pufff!' says Sid snatching the pillow from her, while Roli sits down smiling.


Couple of hours later. Sid is still working while Roli is all tensed wondering if the work would finish on time.


"Sid will we able to make it on time?' Roli questions biting her nails.


"Only god knows. I'm working on it, but ya, let's see.' he says still not raising his head.


"This is all because of you. That professor Arora is gonna grill me if I delay submission.' Roli says being worried again.


No chance. When they have better grilled foods at the market, why would he even think of grilling you? Grilled Roli. eww...' Sid comments while Roli shrinks her face in irritation.


"Don't be so pathetic.!!!' she says.



"No way. I'm already pathetic.' Sid replies just to irritate her. Pissed off by his silly jokes at the wrong time, she gets up while he watches her with the corner of his eyes, ready to break in to laughter.


"Continue the work. I'll just come after getting ready. And yes, if you stop and turn to your phone, should I tell you what will happen. So hurry up. ' threatens her as she leaves, while Sid smiles looking at the door.

Much later. At 10:05 A.M. Roli is all worried thinking of submission as Sid gets his bike keys from the table.


"Sid we're late!' she says getting up from the bed.



"So what? The work is done right?' Sid questions combing his messed up hairs.


"But the submission time was 10 A.M and it's already 10:05. It will be at least 10:30 by the time we reach college and I'm sure Arora isn't gonna accept my work.' Roli says looking like she's gonna cry.


"Stop worrying Roli. Now that such a situation has come up, we have to face it. Just come.' says Siddhant holding her wrist. Roli is still hesitant thinking of how her professor will respond. Seeing her, Sid thinks for a moment and smirking, quickly sweeps Roli off her feet, shocking her.



"Areeyy. Keep me down.' Roli cries while Sid starts walking with her to the drawing room.



"You'll further waste time. So better I do this.' he says as he continues to walk.


"Areyy. What happened?' ask Anita seeing Sid carrying Roli in arms.



"Just a measure to stop this girl's bla bla bla and waste of time.'



"Siddhant. Put me down. I'll walk.' Roli says but Sid pays no attention and walks out of the flat, leaving Anita to sigh.



Reaching the lift, Sid puts Roli down while she smiles. To be honest, she enjoys it when he picks her up but often he does it so unexpectedly that she feels nothing but shock.,


"It is good if you carry me. At least I don't have to take the pain of walking.' she says smiling.


"Keep that wish in your mind baby! You're heavy as an elephant due to your heavy diets. And she wants me to lift her always!' Sid comments while Roli pouts.



"I was joking. Now don't start for that. See we reached down.' says Sid while Roli smiles and follows him.


"Hold me tight and yes, don't scream like the last time.' warns Sid as Roli settles behind him on the bike.


"means? Are you gonna drive at that dangerous speed?' she questions with horror in her eyes. She still cannot get over the shock she got last time when he drove like he was participating in some bike race. It was so bad, so much that she ended up puking once he stopped the bike.


"Yes!!!' that's what Sid says before starting the bike, definitely to drive in the highest possible speed. All Roli could do is to hug him tight, screw shutting her eyes while continues driving, smirking at Roli who's literally shivering behind him. Not to mention, he loves high speed, but Roli is definitely not someone who can enjoy it


Some 10 minutes later. Siddhant stops the bike with a shriek as they finally reach Roli's college.


"Get down.' says him parking the bike beneath a tree while Roli sighs in relief, rubbing her chest to console herself after the horrible journey.


"I won't come with you in this bike again. Did you had a plan to kill me?' asks Roli.


"yes. I had. I'm fed up with your tantrums. So thought , let's kill her! Areyy buddhu. see, it's just 10:15. we reached this early because I drove at that speed. Now stop arguing and come. We need to submit the work before they decide to fail you. Come!' he says dragging her holding her wrist while Roli silently follows him.
