Not everyone was burn a hero , that's what I always say , we all have our strengths and weaknesses, person the girl that gets saved doesn't make you less of a person of a human being than the person who saved you ...
This is a woman who is a prostitute , not by choice but by force maybe just maybe in the beginning there was a fighting spirit in her but its been five years she is now dead according to the world and the people that should be fighting to get her back ...and am guessing she was dead to herself too sexual slavery/rape( let's not sugar coat it having sex with someone while knowing they don't want it and while knowing they have no choice in the matter is rape ) is not something to be taken lightly its can change any person it changes people when it happens once but imagine continuously for five year ...
She said no one escapes this hell , she most have tried at some point and learnt from her mistake and others too most have been an example and it most have taken a lot more to tried again
She might have been that person Neil keeps on yapping about , she might have been that amazing human being but being violated in the most cruel way man can think of can change a person
and maybe neil is right they WERE thesame ( she and Anvi) , but just maybe while others would have fought to the dead or build a thick skin , this girl retreated into her self and became the shell of the woman neil knew because we all survive in different ways we all protect our selves in different ways ...
While neil knew the girl who might have been happy , had normal every day problems , families , blood lines , heirs , money etc ... This is a girl whose only fight am guessing is to own her own BODY ...
She is not asking for marriage rights , and name but her BODY something that is the basics of all human rights, the right to ones' own body the right to be treated not as property but as human ... The right to be human ... So neil is seeing a flying bird and seeing a half dead caged bird that doesn't know its still alive
Many people would have killed themselves , many people would have tried hell and sure she has tried , but she is still alive and to me just being alive and have that hope of seeing another day is amazing on its own because everything is replaceable , they could always kill her and traffic another woman from some Where to go through the same pain ...
My only regret is that like all tv shows her story instead to be dealt with sensitivity would be made as an excuse to glorify others and then swept under the table as if it never happened and she will become this whole new person( probably the bitch from he'll who was born to separate the OTP) because women/men who go through such ordeals don't need counseling years of help and therapy ...
Am sorry this was a comment that turned into a rant and then a post ... And its mostly inspired by a show called "the hand maiden's tale" its about a group of women who are kidnapped trained and forced into being surrogates (through the natural way) to the new rulers of a post apoplectic america ... The show is not for the faint hearted and its only 12 episodes. , and you realise that human cruelty disguised religion , politics and money does rule the world
Ps: can't say anything about the acting cause sometimes terrible acting just makes you want to hit your head repeatedly on the world and I myself can't act to say my life which is why I don't try and some people should follow my example 😉
