Is Riya just another vamp?

Sometimes the truth lies beyond the horizons of our reach and differ from what we preach.
So here we have another episode depicting that Riya is just another pawn in Dayawanti's big game and her marriage with Neil is just another bait.
I found Riya plain innocent who's just craving for that affection called LOVE. Her jealously of Amol and her desperation to gain attention, that was so brilliantly used by her Bua against her, was a proof of the same.

Today's episode is the second one I'm watching, so maybe I'm too fast at making this conclusion but I would love to be corrected.

Agreed, so far I don't see her as a vamp. She is a pawn in her grandmother's game and manipulated by her aunt as well. Riya herself craves love and attention. She has turned to materialistic things and social media likes/comments/followers to compensate. She has no friends in real life which is why she was so quick to accept Ananya.

At the same time, Riya is a narcissist who thrives on compliments and anything that will elevate her. This quality can become problematic later on. We should also not forget that Riya hates Avni and Ali. Actually, she loathes Avni because she believes she ruined her life. Avni is gone yet Riya's hatred is still as strong as it was 15 years prior. How does one rectify that? How do you let go of such a strong emotion that after all this time still defines you? There is a chance those feelings will turn her into a vamp when they rear their ugly head. However, if the cvs have planned for a Riya and Ali love story, her vamp behaviour won't last long.
