it was raining hard that night. neil thought that atleast nature was able to understand his emotions. he had a sudden urge to have a drink only to remember the next about a promise he made that he would never drink again.
it was a wise decision because had he not been sober that night , he would have missed the light knock on his quarters door.
he opened the door only to receive a shock. at first he thought he saw a ghost or perhaps he was thinking about her so much and with such dedication that his imagination took the solid form.
can i come inside neil???
it was after she spoke that he realized that she was standing in front of his house drenched in rain adorned in jewelries and wearing her wedding attire. too stunned to do anything he opened the door wide and allowed her room to enter. after closing the door he went inside to fetch a fluffy towel and hot water for her to drink. she was standing like a statue near his reading table. as he touched her shoulders, she reacted like a jolt of electrycity passed through her body and turned to look at him.
at that moment he saw what he was sure he would never see in his whole life..
she was crying.. his avni was crying.
