A lot has been discussed about this track yesterday and today, whether Gauri should be taking English lessons or not. I personally welcome this track. I don't think makers are suddenly making Gauri dumb or trying to show her change herself for just for Om's sake. Gauri is very smart and resourceful, but she was overwhelmed that day when she was hounded by those journalists. She was out of her element at the exhibition and no matter how quick witted someone is, being crowded in an unfamiliar situation can take a toll on person.
On top of that she was already feeling disheartened from the way Om had responded to the chai wala and when he didn't credit her for being his inspiration and she blamed herself for causing him embarrassment. I am not blaming Om but his way of dealing with the situation was not right. Between the two of them, they have a serious lack of communication. But ultimately, Gauri will know that Om already accepts her the way she is.
Gauri never felt the need to go out and learn English earlier because she was never faced with a situation like this. So it doesn't really matter what prompted her to do it. Ultimately it's for herself and her self confidence. This can help broaden her horizon. She is young and needs a life and friends of her own. If not for this, she would not have gotten this opportunity, as she was already content with being surrounded by the big family that Oberois are. I am glad they are actually showing a proper class full of students and not just a private tutor.
Of course, the teacher is good looking and smart and will serve his purpose in making Om jealous.
The small Rikara scene was so cute. Om worrying about where Gauri is and later pretending to be busy when she entered the room. But poor guy, he was waiting to have lunch with Gauri.
The only thing that worries me is Pinky poking her nose. 😳
Welcome back SC. 😃 You were greatly missed on the show. With Annika back, Shivika are back and what a lovely dose of Shivika we got today. I am glad we're over with the Thank you and Anni being mad at Shivaay. Shivika are on the same page again. The custody papers scene was sweet, followed by another round of ILU from Annika and cheek kiss was cherry on top. 😳
Oberois and their never ending random functions.😆 If the Oberois keep this up, they'll run out of all their money someday, seeing how no one really works.😆 But Shivaay wants to do it for Annika.😳 I am not sure how it will end up with Annika getting to hear what she wants to hear from Shivaay, but if it serves it's purpose, then it's all good.
IB continues to have issues with directing, editing and continuity. Some of the scenes felt abrupt and it gave me michmichi.
Tejvilana were again on a different timeline and I was lost as to what day it was. That confrontation between Jahnvi and Svet happened two days ago and then it to jumped today.😕 Has Gauri been attending her classes for two days or three days?
Why does Svet want the painting and what's the raaz regarding Shivaay? I am saying Shivaay, because I still don't think it directly involves Annika. But if something impacts Shivaay it will automatically impact Annika too. Whatever it is, I just don't want Shivaay to be illegitimate or worse, not an Oberoi at all.
