One of the qualities which I like about Avni is that, although she is married to ACP Neil Khanna, she never uses his name, power or position to get her work done.
She loves and respects Neil because of the person he is and not because of the profession he is in.
I noticed this first time when she wanted to help Mehr and landed in Ballu's house. There Ballu was threatening to call police but in reply Avni didn't answer him back by saying her husband is an ACP.
Next when her Robinhood gang asked her to take her husband's help for tracing the car that kidnapped Ali, initially Avni was reluctant because she didn't want Neil to think that she wants to take advantage of his position. But later she sought his help as she had no other option.
On the contrary had it been any other girl, suppose Rhea, by she now she would have misused Neil's all name and fame. For example at the time when she was not even engaged to Neil, she used his name to threaten Ali after the road accident . She felt proud because she was getting married to an IPS and not the person Neil Khanna.
In her birthday party also she ordered DD to write Neil's name in her chit for the dance as if DD was her personal assistant. DD made a good popat of her by writing Ali's name in her chit.
But then there is Avni, even when she needs DD's help, she never commands him to follow her orders as she is his superior's wife, but politely requests him to help her unofficially.
Even when she gets angry with DD it appears more like a sister's wrath rather than a boss' wife's foul mood. That is the reason why DD respects her and assists without Neil's knowledge knowing very well that it can land him into trouble.
