Akira - 4.81cr

Neerja - 4.61cr

Jai Gangaajal - 4.37cr

TWMR - Sequel with a known south star

TDP - Emraan Hashmi was more bankable than Vidya

okay so TWMR is out based on madhvan..fair enough

but on what basis in Piku still there then?

unless madhvan is a bigger star than amitab

What was finding fanny's opening? I know it had Arjun but still just asking??

True

But NH10 came few months after PK. Got immense support from industry. And promo's were good. I felt Akira gaining near 5cr. With having no big cast, music or support from industry. Sonakshi coming back after flop Tevar which opened good too. Until Noor it seemed she had good following in Mass centres but Noor wasn't a massy film but rather Multiplex film.

Finding Fanny 4.5cr according to BOI. Which is okay coz movie was in English but Arjun had Gunday & 2 States before it. He was a lot more bankable then

Why isn't that south star getting lead actor roles if he can be responsible for a big opening?
And yeah, it's a sequel, but a sequel of another female oriented movie. Isn't Jai Gangaajal also a sequel?

I don't get it. In every hero dominated movie there is also a leading lady. She still has some contribution to the movie if not all.Each leading female also has her own fan base. Then why are we sidelining TMWR and Piku kind of movies just because it had a known male star. AB ki movies kaunsa major opening deti hai ab. Yeh kaisa comparison hua phir?
