She had pushed him towards Tia, and he hated the distance. He tried his best to make her jealous but she implodes with her feelings , unlike his rather cute jealous explosions. She's a locked safe full of treasure and he wants to unlock it but having trouble with the keys.
Remember the time after Pari left, she was amazed at how much he loved the little girl. He turned to her shocked that she, of all ppl didn't know how deeply he loves. Truth is she didn't, perhaps now she does.
It was common belief that Shivaay Singh Oberoi did not believe in Love and it's trappings, calling it fanciful and only in movies. For her to know that he had changed his mind about that thanks to her, is something I can't wait to see.
He needs to hear it first from her because it means she trusts him with her heart again. Her trust that she still accepts him as her companion, her anchor in life. They haven't spoke about their painful separation at all, HS won't let that pot of gold go surely.
It's understandable that he may feel guilt for all the times she tried to tell him about his mother and he didn't believe her. Never mind whether he should feel guilt or not, his character is one that punishes himself for a lapse in judgement.
So when she was completely cool with finding Natasha in his room, he was so happy.
"I trust you. You wouldn't do things like that. I trust you completely. " was like music to his ears.
Then came the frustrating "Where there is Love..." which trailed off and was swallowed. He wasn't about to let it go again. He wanted to hear it desperately. Both know It, just that she has reservations. Only HS knows what is going on in Annika's head.
Is she worried about letting go of her heart because she fears she will lose control of her life. She was ruined without him, like living dead emotionally. It's her personal struggle to let go of herself into somebody's care. We'll know more when the scene comes.
So he's on a mission to go all out and show her how much he is in love with her. For all to see, blatantly obvious it's slightly embarrassing. But she basks in It, blushes and smiles so it isn't going past her head.
There were far more cringeworthy displays of affection from Billu before.
Then when he went after ACP Randhawa and got beat up, he asked for only Annika when he woke up. Like a fussy child he kept Annika by his side, and she felt awkward like hell. Back then I cringed so much along with Rudra, Shakti, and Dadi who felt awkward too.
There he was, unbothered with what anyone thought, He wanted Annika. Rudy felt weird and Shakti did too. But neither said anything, and Pinky worked up a giant grudge.
I thought, why should SSO always be perfect?
Time will tell if Pinky values her son, or having her way. Mother and son story is still going on. (One could say that she did dress up to join the function, but he didn't give her a chance to speak, he literally turned his back to her.)
Nope, not a Pinky sympathizer. Never. Ugh. The things this woman did.
But he's overdoing his gestures for a reason, to get her to open up.
