To me, it looks like she is getting pigeon-holed into these Indian heartland girl roles. She needs to change it up.

Bhumi looked so confident during TEPK promotions...She is so mature and down to earth..

Best thing about Bhumi is, she is as good in normal conversational scenes, comedy scenes and emotional scenes.
These are the signs of a good actor.
As far as box office goes, it is all about script, people are not going to watch Bhumi but the movie. But that is the building block for outsiders, you get famous because of the roles, characters, and not your real name. Real Name should come later on, first people should remember your work, and not your personal information.
