Alka was my favorite. Actually she ruled the 90's as she had most of the songs.

I also liked chitra's voice in Kenya hi kya, yeah had vadiya, saathiya yeah tune kya kiya...

Anuradha who nowadays does devotional songs had done songs like Dhak dhak.

I remember Poornima's voice it suited karishma really well in sona kitna sona hai and unchi hai building. She kind of disappeared soon.

Jaspinder narula also I liked. Sabki baaratein aayi, taare hai baraati were good.

Alka and Kavita went neck to neck in the 90s, but Alka did better in the early 2000s.

Yeah, Jaspinder was also good in Pyar to hona hi tha and Tera rang balle balle.

Surprised at the low number of votes for Anuradha. She is quite popular in the real world, lol. Though I was never her fan as such.

Anuradha has quite a good career ahead of her but was cut short by the Mangeshkar sisters or so the gossip goes. 😭 she was very talented too and had an amazing range and voice quality!!

^^She was doing quite well in the early 90s, but she recently said that she decided to leave when she was highly sought after to sing devotional songs!

I do feel bad for her, but then again, she dubbed over other artists' songs at T-Series. E.g. almost all Dil songs were initially sung by Alka, but Anuradha dubbed them.
