Inspired from the thread about male singers from the 90s. 😃

Haven't included Lata and Asha because although they did sing in a number of films from the 90s, they were more active in previous eras.

I cannot pick one over another.

I wanted to pick Alka as soon as I saw her name, but then saw Chitra who, for me, as a South Indian is one of the GREATEST singers ever and then, Sadhna Anuradha Kavita, even Hema was a flavor of her own... it's hard to pick any..

True. They all have beautiful voices, so it's tough to choose. 😃
