Well maybe all our badduas did strike the channel. Apparently it suddenly and without any notice pulled the plug on one of its much touted shows pehredar piya ki.

It has practically nothing now on offer other than crime patrol and more crime patrol or kapil sharma.

Well kaun banega cannot single handedly save the sinking ship I suppose and I hope because curse it I do each and every day!!!

What the channel did with YMMKD was simply unpardonable!! They did everything wrong with it, the time slot given, no publicity, no reruns and so on and so forth. And took all of us for a ride and played with our emotions.

I say serves them right.

UK ratings - Sony Entertainment Television's big ticket show Kaun Banega Crorepati returned for its ninth season run and topped the channel's ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show attracted 23,700 viewers at 21:00 peaking at 30,000 viewers. It was the most watched show on Sony TV last night on a relatively disappointing night. The Kapil Sharma Show' repeat at 18:00 pulled in 1,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, Chakravyuh' at 18:00 led with 96,800 viewers, followed by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 65,000 viewers, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' at 18:30 with 64,900 viewers and Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji' at 19:00 with 61,600 viewers and Naamkarann' at 21:00 with 58,900 viewers. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Season 3' at 20:00 fetched just 39,600 viewers.

It's their own fault. Unless they have stuff ready now to replace the shows asap then their ratings will continue to fall.
