Nakuul Mehta and Nikita Anand. Take a bow. What a powerful performance today. 👏👏 Nakuul, you are amazing. The pain, the shock, the quivering voice...and the slight incoherency from the shock and hurt...it all came out so brilliantly. I was in tears. And his act was matched by another masterful performance by Nikita. I never realized how great she is until this episode. Splendid.
The episode was perfect. I can't believe what the CVs has been giving us since the last few days and this episode was better than ever. It's undoubtedly one of the best episodes in the show so far. I am speechless.
Loopholes aside ( which I am just going to ignore for now ), who would have thought Pinky could be such an evil mastermind? Yes, the Oberois (as well as us) grossly underestimated Pinky, who's cleverness was shrouded by her loud, brash and tacky behavior.
There really was no limit to the pain and shock Shivaay suffered today. A mother loves her child unconditionally and places her child's needs and wants above all else, but Pinky placed herself above everything else. It was all about what she wants and what she thinks is right.
Shivaay Singh Oberoi has been the Great Wall for his family, fiercely protecting them from all harm. A wall is strong and firm, but not indestructible. It requires protection. Today Shivaay finally learnt, how OmRu and Annika were protecting him...how much they had sacrificed for him. Yes, naam, khoon, khandaan mattered to him, but it was his own mother who instilled those views in him and he knows now how wrong they were. His brothers helped him realize people's true worth and Annika earned his love and respect by being who she is.
Shivaay Singh Oberoi has to be one the most well-etched male lead characters in Indian telly just as Shivika's love story one of the very best. In many shows, the build up for the love story is nice and shows promise, but they can't follow it through. The gazebo scene was absolutely beautiful and with it along with the rest of the episode, Shivaay Singh Oberoi came a full circle today. From placing Naam, khoon, khandaan above all else to realizing people's true worth. From never getting down on his knees to getting down on his knees to propose...not in humiliation but out of love and devotion...to propose to his love. For accepting Annika as just Annika in front of the whole world and promising to give her the dream wedding she deserves, Shivaay Singh Oberoi came a full circle today. He honored his love in front of the whole world.
I normally hate scenes in any show where media gets involved. They often turn cheesy with the dialogues and all and look unrealistic...but this was very well done. Kudos to the CVs for this fabulous episode and dialogues were excellent.⭐️ And Of course, the Dhamaka that the divorce didn't happen. Looking forward to all the fun tomorrow.
