Pehredaar Piya ki goes off air,
1. One doubt - did they telecast the show yesterday- Does anyone know?

2. Its really not logical with Sony TV to stop the show like this. They can't give the shock to the cast and crew like this. They could have changed the story that the female lead was not married, only to take care of Ratan, its shown that she is married.

Even I didn't like a small boy marrying and elderly women. I know there were more talks about this. There is no rule that men should not marry an olderly woman, but both men and women should be grown up not a child with an older woman. If it was 25 yr old man with a 35 yr old woman it was O.K. But not 10 yrs old with 20 yr old woman.

I know the post is out of topic and it may be deleted. Any how it was my view of how they cut off the shows without any time/intimation.

Very true...😆
I am totally agree with you...
To sony, crime patrol is their greatest show. Others shows are like their enemies even though they are very popular and have a huge fan following...
They are really mad.. No, madest...

I don't how unethical and illogical they are. I think they don't study market strategy and study the need of the viewers. CID, Crime patrol and Weekend are episodic based and there is no continuity. None of them have promos, how will the TRP raise. I think Kuch rang had good TRP till the promos, repeats were aired, later decreased once there were no promos or repeats. Even the repeats are aired without any change in time. If repeats don't give TRP why are they repeating CP for full day and not the serials.

I need to tell one example, in one Kannada serial the hero was changed ( he left the show), they changed the story line that the hero was kidnapped and brought a different person. The show is still in success. Without the main lead, the show ran for nearly 3-4 weeks without any change in TRP or fall of the serial. Whereas in Ed duje ke vaste, Nikkita was sick with dengue and the serial was closed/shut. Repeat of CID in Sony pal and Adalat is a success with a good trp than in Sony tv.

Sony has given an official statement regarding the same. According to them they wants to give more focus in developing viewer's interest in their upcoming shows.

I guess it was about time that Sony gave out an official statement. The way Sony has been treating their shows has been abominable. For KRPKAB even after the fans request they did not find it necessary to share the reasons for their decision for the abrupt ending instead it was the makers & the actors who were defending the channel and requesting the fans not to blame the channel. Even for PPK when the controversy first broke out they never released any statement and it was again left to the makers to defend the show.
So it was about time that Sony made an official statement as the backlash they are receiving from the fans first for KRPKAB then BEYHADH and now PPK has been huge. On top of that their supposed TRP gainers in The Kapil Sharma show and Thr Drama company has backfired as well.
Karma is hitting them back too soon 😆

What a funny explanation, never knew that interest for upcoming serials is generated by pulling the current ones off air abruptly😆
