What do you all think of the line up this season?

I really wanted to see Atif again 😆

"Salman Ahmed, Sajjad Ali, Mekaal Hasan, Ali Hamza (as solo artist), Sahir Ali Bagga and Strings will the producers for this year. Each producer will produce a tribute song in his set. Faiz Ahmed Faiz will be paid tribute in the form of Bol Kay Lab Azaad Hain ft Shafqat Amanat Ali while Dum Mast Qalandar ft Umair Jaswal and a Qawwal party will be one to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Sehwan Sharif. Ali Sethi will do Ranjish hi Sahi in the memory of Mehdi Hassan Sahab and Ali Zafar, Ali Hamza and Strings will do Uss Rah Parr remembering the beloved Junaid Jamshed."

just realized Noori isn't in the line up, I liked their song renditions last season

Also, does anyone know why coke studio isn't providing the bts videos? I always liked watching the behind the scenes...

Chaa Rahi Kaali Ghata: Loved the vocalists, esp the last 2-3 minutes of the song. wish more of the song was along those lines, because it was like 8 minutes and quite slow. what really surprised me was Hina Nasrullah's high pitch ( i think thats what its called ) in the last 2 minutes of the song. it was so good. but idk why they [producers?] had her sing so slowly. This is was the first time i heard her, but impressed. she pronounced each word so nicely too...Amanat Ali was as always great no words needed😆

Muntazir--ooh, i have a lot of expectations, from this one 😆I'm watching it last too😆

Eh. definitely the weaker on among this group. maybe because I was expecting a lot more from Momina and Danyal. His voice for sure sounded like his brother's but Ali's has more range. and Momina was just meh too...she sounded similar to last season's song, the one she did with Junaid...but yeah. not as great as the rest but not bad.

Ranjish Hi Sahi: oh damn...so beautiful and perfect.👏 So so perfect. Ali sethi's voice was apt and the music wasn't too much. It seemed like a proper tribute! Glad they didn't try to do so much and make it extra.

Allahu Akbar: tbh, i don't have the right to comment on the great perfection that this way, the vocals, the lyrics, jsut everything was perfection and phenomenal👏

What did you all think about episode 2 and 3?

I didn't like 3 which is really sad but i didn't connect with any on the songs..

So far, Episode 2 was by favorite

I really wished QB gets a good song to perform...Lal Pat didn't do that for me or i think her 😆

does she have another appearance? or only 2...
