Next day Raman instructed Ishita to book a nice place and get it decorated as per her wish ,as he was thinking to confess his love to his girlfriend. Ishita got irritated as it was not a part of her job moreover the thing that he was making her do every arrangements as per her choice was making her more irritated .
Ishita booked a roof top restaurant and get it decorated with red and white heart shape balloons ,scented candles and beautiful lights . It was about 5.30 pm when ishita called Raman and spoke " sir everything is done ,you come and see if its ok ."
Raman told that he is coming ,saying so he hung the call and drove towards the restaurant. Soon he reached there ,he went to the roof top and scanned whole place .He saw it and spoke " everything is very nice Ishita but why did you choose this place ,I mean these all decorations are awesome but they are not looking beautiful in this day time ."
I- I know its daytime but soon it will be dark then this will look very beautiful.
R- what if I wanna propose my girlfriend in evening .
Ishita got tensed listening to this and spoke " sir , everything is done . I should leave now ,your girlfriend must be coming .
Saying so she turned to leave when Raman held her hand ,he turned her to him ,sat on his knees and confessed, forwarding the diamond ring to her
" no body is coming Ishita as you are the one whom I love and want to marry ."
Though Ishita was confused about Ramans behavior but she didn't ever thought that he will actually propose her that to this soon and now when he has proposed her ,she was too confused to react .She was rooted to her place when she heard him " Ishita I don't know why but I like you very much and my love has gone to such extent that now I can't live without you so i wanna marry you ,will you marry me ishita ."
Ishita was looking at him with not so shocked as she already had doubt but scared emotion as its very soon abd she has to work more 28 days with him ,she was lost in her thoughts when he spoke " ishita answer me jaan ,my knees are paining .".
Ishita shook her head negatively and spoke " no sir this cannot happen ,I never thought like this for you ".
R- then think now , I m handsome ,well educated and well settled .
I- no sir ,I can't.
R- why ,why can't you love me ,kya kami hai mujhme .
I- sir please don't force me ,kami aap mein nahi mujh me hai ,I m al...
She was yet to complete her sentence but got interrupted by ring of her phone ,he thought that she will mute it and complete her sentence but instead she picked the call and spoke " hello ".
She listened to the person other side and hung the call saying she is coming as soon as possible . After disconnecting the call she saw Raman and spoke " sir we will talk later ,I have to leave now."
Saying so she went from there while Raman was shocked as well as broken with her indifference towards him . Few minutes after she left ,he realized that she was actually gone without giving him proper answer ,realizing so ,he ran down behind her .She has reached ground floor while he was still waiting for his lift,he was about to go down by steps but the lift arrived ,he immediately get in and pressed the ground floor button .Soon he was in ground floor ,he ran outside and saw her standing on the other side waiting for taxi or rickshaw ,he immediately get into his car and turned it towards her ,soon he was in front of her .He came out from his car and walked to her angrily and hissed in her ears , turning her to him ,digging his nails into her skin " how can you go like this without answering me ."
I- sir its urgent let me go ,I will tell everything but now I m in hurry .
R- (gritting his teeth's )-nothing is important than this , answer me first then only you can go from here .
Ishita was about to speak when her phone buzzed again ,she picked the call and spoke " just coming amma ,wait for a little ".
She shrugged his hand and start walking to get some means of transportation while he went behind her and catch her again she struggle to make herself free and in this process she was pushed in road and as it was too sudden that the car which was coming from other direction couldn't stop and went hitting Ishita ,she was thrown on other side while Raman shouted loudly taking her name .He ran to ishita and called her ,but she couldn't respond as she lost her senses while he can see blood oozing from different parts of her body .Soon some more people arrived and helped Raman in taking her to hospital .A person who knows driving agreed to drive his car while he settled in back seat hugging her close to heart ,he was calling her time to time while tears were flowing continuously from his eyes .
He was cursing himself saying this has happened because of him only as if he wouldn't was chasing her she would had been careful .Soon they reached the hospital near by ,Raman picked ishita in his arms and ran inside ,she made her lay in the bench and asked for doctor ,soon she was taken to emergency room while the nurse asked " what happened to her ".
R- a car hit her.
N- its an police case ,we can't treat her .
R- are you mad ,she is so much hurt and you are teaching me rules and regulations ,you start the treatment I m doing needful .
N- no sir we can't do that.
R- (irritated)- why i m talking to you ,where is doctor .
N- he must be coming shortly but he will not start treatment till the fir rather he will shout on us .
R- you start treatment ,I will talk to him in the meantime I m arranging for FIR also..
N- but sir..
R(almost shouting)- don't try to teach me , do as you are said ...
N- no we can't and don't shout be in limits this is hospital not your house .
Raman went close to her and hissed greeting his teeth's ," start the treatment now ,either if something happened to her ,you will be the first one to be hurt and I don't know how deep it would be ,may we you loose your life ".
The nurse got scared but she couldn't start the treatment ,to her good luck the doctors arrived that time only ,he asked about the patient and she informed that its and accident case .The doctor turned to Raman and was about to speak when Raman told " doctor I m fulfilling all the needs but you start the treatment ."
D- but ...
R- no if no but you go and treat her I m arranging for FIR ,its already half an hour since she is hurt , what will you do with FIR if something happens to her .I m saying na I will do needful but you people are not listening .Till now I m pleading but I will not leave you if you didn't start the treatment now .
Saying so Raman took out his phone and called mihir, informing her about the accident and told him to file a FIR .Seeing him doing his job doctor and nurse went to treat Ishita .Soon her treatment started while Raman called his office and told the receptionist to inform in Ishita's house about her accident .She did same while doctor came out after treating ishita .He told that she is not much injured just had some wounds in elbow ,leg and a deep cut in forehead ,the bandage has been done and she will remain in hospital for tonight and will be discharged next day morning . Raman asked if he can meet her ,doctor told that she is sleeping due medication and will be up soon ,he can meet her after she is shifted to ward .
Saying so doctor was gone while Raman was still waiting for her to be shifted to ward .After sometimes mihir came to hospital with inspector to take Raman's statement . Inspector asked about the accident to him ,Raman narrated about the accident then inspector asked about the car which has hit Ishita ,Raman recalled a lot and spoke " inspector I was so shocked with the sudden accident that I couldn't note the car number but I remember that it was black Honda city ."
PI - the person hit her and didn't stopped.
R- no rather he drove away fastly .
PI- anything else which you can tell about the car .
Raman again tried and spoke "the number was 2038 ."
PI- wow you remember the number .
R- no you listen to me ,the number were these only but I didn't recall the places of numbers ,So if you wanna search you have to check all the cars with these four numbers .
PI- then also you had helped us a lot .
R- inspector please infirm me once you catch him .
PI- as you say .
They were still talking when a old couple showed up, both of them were very much tensed , the woman was holding a small baby in her arms who was crying bitterly .The lady stopped there and rocked the baby to make her silent but it was crying more and more. Raman was seeing the lady thoroughly recalling where he has seen her while the old person walked to them and asked " Raman bhalla ".
R- me and you .
Appa - I m viswanathan iyer ,Ishita's father .
R- ohh ,hello sir .she is sleeping .
Appa - what happened suddenly .
Raman narrated about the accident skipping his confession part .They were talking when the baby cried aloud while the lady tried to pecify her.They saw towards the lady when appa spoke " she is Ishita's mother ".
M - and the baby is Ishita's...
A- daughter ..
M- what !
A- yeah she is Ishita's daughter ruhi .
M- how old is she .
A- five months .
M- where is..
Mihir aas about to ask about Ishita's husband but saw Raman who was going out of the hospital ,he told about Ishita's whereabouts in jiffy and ran behind Raman ,who has now settled in his car ,mihir ran to him but before he reach Raman drove away from there .
