avg movie budget is 50 cr... and then promotional budget is around 10-20 cr... to recover this amount, every production house will do everything to recover this amount whether they do it by trending on twitter/increasing view count/likes or even fake wom. a common friend of mine write a blog for cosmetic product, she not only get free samples from the company but also get paid to promote them.

Why is it called 2? As it's a remake not sequel it should have been called Judwaa (like Srk's don)

i love varun but i don't like him in comedies...he overacts in comedies...he just either imitates govinda or salman...he needs to make his own identity in comedy genre...after a fantastic performance in Dishoom and Badrinath Ki Dulhania...this is disappointing...his comic timing is also forceful

RV would have been better choice for such genre...

what works for Judwaa 1...salman was being himself and made Raja and Prem iconic...

Govinda...Akshay...Salman are so good in comedies and their comedy films are still remembered even now is becos they were being themselves while playing the characters and gives a identity to their characters...even Akshaye Khanna...Anil Kapoor are so good in comedies...they just being themselves while playing the characters and understand their characters

its not easy to do comedies...one needs to have a great sense of humour and perfect comic timing

varun is OTT in comedy genre...he needs to stop doing his father films...he brings the worst out of his son...

furthermore this film is more of a remake rather than a sequel...with slight changes...the scenes are even lifted from the prequel...

people wants to see new things not iconic scenes from the original...copy and paste it with a new actor and set up...it will not work becos people will definitely compare and always gives a upper hand to the original

the only good things are the songs...Salman brought humour in the songs..while Varun brings dance into the song...which is a contrast...i am awaiting for the songs...

but what i see from the trailers...i choose Prem and Varun-Tapsee...Raja is OTT and trying to imitate Salman's Raja which is a failure...varun-jacky has no chemistry...she doesn't have karishma's charisma to pull off the role...while tapsee has the rambha's charm at the same she makes it as her own...

well this film will work for its iconic songs...Oonchi Hai Building and Tan Tana Tan Tan...i love it those days too...infact all the songs of Judwaa 1 was iconic...

want this to be vd's 9th hit ,budget is 80 cr so could very well be a hit

Did not like the trailer at all. Varun is OTT, his comedy looks forced. Jackline looks awful plus has an annoying screen presence. Tapsee surprisingly looks naturally beautiful, I have watched her work since Aadukalam but here she looks totally different.
