I like Sonakshi the same way I like Dev. U can c in my posts, I'm nt one sided . If Dev does something wrong, I criticise him , same goes with Sonakshi but for Ishwari , I'm nt that lenient bcoz though Ishwari was a good hearted one , the moment she knew bout Dev -Sona affair, her goodness turned overnight to highly insecured one who actually got afraid of Sonakshi's goodness. This is nt my words , but the character Ishwari's words.

I'm sorry to say but how can I figure out Sonakshi's choice. It solely depends on the writer . I'm afraid Lakshmi , u r taking the reel too much to real. Anyways I'm thinking that's bcoz of the luv for the show . ( I jst remembered few days bak, I praised Aaliya for her performance , u asked me how can I applause for Soha , remember rt ?? Then I told u that praise was meant for the child artist Aaliya ) By dissecting a show , actually v r giving feedbaks to the writers thru the analysis of the characters , nothing else. Nobody shud feel offended hre . That's y I'm nt putting any disclaimers most of the time .Freedom of speech is one's right . Unless someone directly hints @ u , u need n't get offended. Slightly deviated from the topic, sorry for that.

Now coming to the show , I wud've appreciated Ishwari, had she jst asked for a suggestion from Dev n Sona b4 naming the yet -to -b born baby. Actually I'm amazed @ the fact that b4 the baby's arrival, they started calling the baby Shubh considering as a boy. Taliyaan goes to CVs. I'm @ dearth of words.

@ BOLD. If u watch the launch video of kuch rang , then writer Raghubir Shekhawat says, " ek beta jo apne maa Ishwari ko Ishwar manta hai kyun ki maa ne bahot sangharsh ki usse palpos kar bada karne me ...ek aaj ki zamane ki ladki jiske liye uska pyar Ishwar ho jaata hai... Rishton ki kahani hai , rishton me ulajh kar hi aage badte hain..." This is wat the writer tod bout the characters @ launch day. I think, I needn't explain more ... 😊

I could not understand what you are conveying to me. What I said is even though Sonakshi is given the chance she will willingly offer it to Iswari. I said as a Sonakshi admirer you should have understood her priorities better than me because I never liked Sonakshi's Charecter. Still I understood how Sonakshi prioritises Iswari and am sure she will feel happy if Iswari named the boy. That much I said. I won't discuss Iswari here because I feel I have different views reg.her.

So I did not say you like only Sonakshi. I did not say you are not a Dev admirer. I did not go there. I hope you now get clarity for what I said and why. As for taking reel as real that happens with involvement. But now I got over my love for this show. I am ready to move on.

Yeahh Sonakshi is the mahan n typical serial bahu who trying to please her MIL, so she will surely never point a finger @ Ishwari . Wat bout Dev ? He too might 've some wishes . Ishwari is jst sabotaging that even if her son don say a word. Ishwari shud understand that she need to step bak a lil by lil , giving opportunity to her son n DIL .

Bottom line is u don't like Sona n I'm nt appreciating Ishwari .😆

Aarcha, it was shown that Bijoy did the same. During Sonakshi's fake pregnancy track too there was a scene where Bijoy, Asha and Saurabh discuss names for Sonakshi's baby. Usually the baby's father's family do come up with names. But Bijoy wanted Sonakshi's first born to have a Bengali name. And there too they pick only boy names. At that time neither Dev nor Sonakshi were present. Bijoy's expectations was that Dixit family should accept the name he gives to the baby.

Recently too it was shown that he has finalized 2 boy names for Saurabh's baby. He did not ask Saurabh, Ronita or even Asha for suggestions. Instead he even went one step forward and said that he will not select a girl name because Saurabh will have a boy. When Asha questions if it is a girl, his justification is that since there is already a granddaughter(Suhana) in the family, Saurabh's baby has to be a boy. He dismisses Asha's words and says that they will only have grandson and he knows it. He outright rejects the possibility of Ronita giving birth to a girl. He was also shown to do research about only boy names.

In that way Ishwari didn't really search for names. She is better than Bijoy and accepts the girl child that may be born. In any of their conversations, they(Dixits) refer to the baby and say it can be a brother or sister. And Ishwari says they will raise the baby with love irrespective of gender. Probably if the doctors had addressed the baby as "baby" instead of fetus, Ishwari wouldn't have named the baby anything. Also she comes up with names on the fly. Unlike Bijoy who completely rejects the idea of a girl child, she actually comes up with a girl name too when pointed out.

Though very short, I liked the entire episode yesterday, Friday - 08/18.

Really loved how the episode started with DevAkshi old BGM. The entire DevAkashi sign language conversation was love and too cute to watch. They definitely were able to portray Dev's ultimate love and concern for only Sonakshi and Sonakshi's desire to give Dev the joy to relive the experience he missed in the past. BTW, Dev looked too hot in red shirt.

In next scene, it was nice to see everyone concerned about Sonakshi's high risk pregnancy including RR - though she will not earn any brownie points from me. It was revealed today that Ishwari was unaware of the truth of Sonakshi's life to be in danger with the high risk pregnancy and her genuine regret on misunderstanding Dev and Sonakshi. After today's episode I concluded that even if Dev and Ishwari desire the new bundle of joy in their lives, they definitely do not want it at the cost of Sonakshi's life. It is Sonakshi who strongly desires to give that pleasure to both Dev and Ishwari and they both are, whole heartedly, going along with Sonakshi's strong desire.

My Confusion: Dev's behavior on asking doctors to leave after the third doctor says "Mera Maan Na Hai Ke Ham Sab Bachche Ke Baare me Hi Baat Kar Rahe Hain. Jab Ki Aise Maamle Me Maa Par Bhi Utna Hi Khatra Bana Hai" was very weird for me. He was the one who invited them to get their expert opinion so why sudden change in behavior when they were telling him the truth to be more informed and precautious?

I am Still Irked: At RR for her "Vicky's Success Raag Alaap". All I am interested in hearing about RR & Vicky is their "Bad Deed Bhandaa Fod" in front of everyone and then their departure from IN. However, it was cute to hear from Golu that he wants a little sister for him to play with, though was not at all interested in hearing what RR or Vicky had to say or wanted.

My Favorite Scene(s): Seeing my 3D, Dear Dev Dixit, caring for his "Biwi Aur Hone Wala Bachchaa" was adorable. Starting from him carrying Sonakshi to Dev-Sonakshi scene in their bed room to the last scene where Dev sincerely trying to get pregnancy related information from Saurabh-Ronita was just too delightful, cute and charming to watch. He is surely determined to win the "World's Best Supportive Husband" Pageant. And definitely as we know nothing is impossible for "The Dev Dixit" if he wants it.

Waiting to see what Monday's episode brings.

PS: Has anyone thought of what they are going to do after next week? Though I have been visitor of this forum for months as a silent reader, just very recently gathered courage on becoming member and posting my views. I have really begun to enjoy it, kind of looked forward to it each day. Now with the show ending, it definitely made me sad thinking about not being able to watch the show or write my 2 cents about the episodes. However, I have made peace with this fact and thank God for giving me this experience. As it's quoted in The Bible "All good things come from God", I will try to find good in everything else I experience as if it's a precious gift from God and will try to enjoy it with fullest passion. 😃

I was confused too at first..
But later i understood why he was irritated at the doctors..
It's like there is something you dont want to hear and everyone is just saying same thing again and again..it is more because of this concern that his reaction came out that way..
It's like OK i got it..you dont have to repeat again and again that my wife's life is in danger and on the other side my wife is adamant about having the baby..dilemma you see..

As usual, I absolutely adored each and every Devakshi centric scene especially, their talks using the sign language...

Dev Dixit's behaviour, in the last scene, was just so cute and I was laughing when he denied Sona's request to sleep hugging her because he wished to first read the last remaining chapter... I am sure that he will succeed in winning the award for the 'most supportive husband'... I could watch their scenes on a loop...

I hope that we will still get some Dev-Sona-Soha scenes.. It will be so good to watch Soha helping Dev, in taking care of her unborn sibling... As well as Soha's interactions with both her mother and the baby...

While, I do expect to see Devakshi-centric scenes, next week.. I am more doubtful about how much of Soha, we will see..

Considering I belong to a family where the girls heavily outnumber boys and many of my relatives only have girls, as well as the fact that I am never able to observe a pregnancy up close...

I really found Ishwari's or for that matter, elder Boses' behaviour with respect to the unborn baby to be really weird... I guess, so watching this shade of the older generation was definitely interesting to watch...

As for the baby name... While I personally didn't like the name 'Shubh', but I did like what his name means 'Auspicious'... But, I do expect Dev and Sona to decide to change the name of the baby, once he/she is born (hopefully, having a similar meaning)...

And, like someone mentioned that Durjoy Dutta has just experienced this fascinating journey himself, so I do expect some personal touches... And, that could be interesting to watch...

(Just came to know that his wife announced her pregnancy through a Scrabble game... So, now, we know from where it came from...)

We have to remember while we know how the show ends or what is going to happen in the last episode, we really don't have any knowledge with respect to the other 4 episodes...

So, again, there is still a sense a mystery surrounding those episodes...

Frankly, I am just going to try and enjoy the episodes as much as possible, especially with the high possibility that we might never see our beloved Devakshi after the next 5 episodes..

So, I just want to cherish it as much as possible and not think, about other things..
