Mohit Sehgal 2day in Bengali news paper anadabazar mohit's interview. Mohit told about his journey of life, Delhi to Mumbai. His love life about sanaya..

First paragraph says from childhood he had the wish of becoming a hero.
Hailing from Delhi, his dad didn't object when he said he is interested in acting but told him if in six months u don't get a chance in the field, u ought to come back to Delhi. 'Thank god I got MjHT within three months itself, else I would have had to indulge in dad's business itself."

He laughs as he says, "I would have earned more money that time being in dad's business, but I wouldn't have gotten the liberty that the field of acting gave me."

Next paragraph speaks about his movie stints and asks why didn't he delve further in movies (in reference to his debut movie Delhi Heights)
He says, I earn more in TV than movies and honestly Tv is such a big medium and I would reach more audiences through TV than I would through Cinema.

Then he got an offer to star in Hrithik Roshan's movie Lakshya

He thought it was nice n there was no reason to refuse But, on day one of shooting he got no dialogue and was merely a background figure and while wrap up he was told , just that was your role.. thank u.

From that time he had vowed, "I won't take such kind of insult.

From now on, I will search for proper roles first and only then I would sign".All of this trivial roles he signed in a jiffy cuz during his studies in Delhi, he was way too wishful about acting and would often do theatres as well. So when small role of Delhi heights came his way he was elated.

That time the acting keeda became so strong in his head that he would just talk about acting in front of all his family members. But his dad wasn't in favour of this angle to his life and hence gave him a deadline of six months. "I didn't take a single support from my dad while leaving Delhi. I knew only 3-4 friends in Mumbai that time and when I came to Mumbai all four of us stayed in a single room flat!"

I didn't even know the locations of any studios. So often I used to sit outside Shah rukh and Amitabh ji's houses, with a hope that maybe some opportunity would come And then the opportunity came his way when one day he was sitting outside Mannat and a casting director came his way, that very day he went for a look test and then 'I never went back to Delhi'.

Speaking of Sanaya he says, it was something at first sight itself.
When asked why did they hide their love from media , he adds, 'we never wanted to hide but the aggression that was going on linking our names was something I was not able to take.'

Asked how things changed after marriage he laughs n says, 'After marriage guys have say sorry a little more than usual.

Mohit says, 'I m loving the fact that my dream of becoming an actor has come true. I m enjoying LkHI.'

Asked if there's something he misses at present, he says, 'Travelling ka time nahi milta ab '
