Delusions....I Me n Mine

Ishqbaaaz has set a trend for itself when it comes to the costumes and extravagance. Is this coincidental or a lot of thoughts go behind all this?

My producer Gul gives a lot of weight to the execution. There has been a lot of thoughts that have gone behind each costume and theme because that is what defines our characters and it makes us happy when we see other shows now following it.

If costumes define your characters what exactly do you do Mohtarma???? Admire yourself n your writing while you plot to butcher the characters defined by your so called costumes ??

You are right there should really be some hairbrained schemes behind your costumes n story lines which only you can understand .


Pinky was always supposed to be one without a finesse character and the reason is that she is so bitter and unhappy with her life which comes in her every relationship. You cannot see anybody happy when you are yourself not happy

She flips the day she sees her son taking a bullet for Anika. So, it is a very genuine character. This is no typical saas-bahu relationship. Anika did not leave the house because of Pinky, she left it because she wanted to protect Shivaay of the truth of their parenting.

Oh wow seriously thank you for this eye opener . Are you sure it is not you who flipped seeing that the show was going smooth n good ?? Oh my what if they do not need me anymore did not occur to you before you set your foot on the path of destruction?? You break a realationship on the grounds of bad parenting ??? Woman(nia) if that was the case most marriages would work in the regular world we cohabit . 😡



Anika is one eccentric character who has redefined the bahu sagas on TV. What was the inspiration behind this character? Anika is like Gul and me because we will do our own thing. She is a girl of today who is lost in life but she has chosen to not sulk about it. She is a fighter and has fought many battles in life but has never let that affect her believe in herself. She has issues with God, she names thing which I do. When you are crafting a character, so much of yourself you put in them that you don't even realise that it becomes an extension of you. We wanted to create a girl who is relatable to girls of today. She is so confident that she even speaks in her 'tadi wala' language in front of Shivaay. She is fearless. Anika's world view is very different from Shivaay, she has seen life through a different lens but yet both come together for the family. We wanted the character to stand out and hence this.


Is this where your delusions of self grandeur start?? You are a fighter n fought many battles in your life n what ever twisted reasons you see her an extension of yourself ?? Fine ... you set her on a path of self destruction can we safely assume you are self destructing too ??? Usually when your extension is being destroyed the next in line would be you in a normal world . So are we looking forward to that now ?


The track is not being dragged and is very important so that Shivaay learns from it. The day Shivaay finds out what this girl has been sacrificing for him, that day he will become a true 'Ishqbaaaz'.

Seriously the way will come because SP decided that it should come ?? Or are you really telling us that the drag fest is a learning arc and this is exactly what you had in mind when you started with your growth n learning curve ?? Convincing ur self or the audience ??

People don't understand that Shivika has had a journey of 350 episodes but Omkara-Gauri, Rudra-Bhavya haven't. Our struggle is that we want the love graph to grow higher but we also want the individual graph to go high.

Really are you writing the same show we are watching 😕 . What you have done to Rikara and Gauri since last few episodes what fodder are you trying to feed us ? If this is the journey you have in store please know that it is a journey to hell no one would wish upon themselves.

people forget that we are writing all the characters not just Shivaay and Anika. I have to be true to all of them.

will be very honest, it has taken a lot of time for me to deal with this. Earlier, I used to wonder what has gone wrong, it is a show for entertainment, why are people taking every scene and ripping it apart? I myself love constructive feedback, but every criticism needs to be done after something is over given that this is a daily show and there are so many things which are in continuation, there is a character graph.

You have learnt to deal with it ... Bravo ... but what about us ??? Will we ever get a chance to heal n deal


Woman get off the high pedestal you have put yourself on. Please consider other people ' the viewers' who yourself said do crazy things out of love for the show . Stop these atrocities you inflict upon people in the name of your creative writing n what ever other nonsense of an excuse you can come up with . Are you not supposed to come up with what makes it tick ?? Ultimately whether you agree or not it's the Trp's that give you the bread n butter to write ... your so called inspiration . Sudharjao for your sake .

Sorry, my comment was too long but I personally felt the utmost necessity of saying all that (^) because I really don't think she should be getting bashed the way she is for some of the stuff, if not all.

@Mushfika : Hello back to you . Thank you for taking time out to comment . Hey you are ok with the story line I guess you are looking at it from a writers perspective( yes I did read your OS :-) ) . Your POV is welcome too as is mine .

Let me explain about Pinky as well ... yes she has no finesse , yes she is insecure and yes she did many things before this seperation happened ... but tell me this why did she throw out or rather blackmail her to get out ?? Why did she not do it to others she always knew Shivay was indifferent to her . Yes he was respectful but never was the relation shown to be anything else to do the flip n show a very possessive pinky or mom . What mom spies on son during intimate moments?? As for forced marriagevideo it's 1 episode that show cases a positive side with another flip during Mahi episodes .

Seriously every woman goes thru this phase but it does not go this extreme of blackmail n seperation etc etc . The stage should have been set to do this as delicately as the relationship was built between Shivika . It was the randomness with some patches of jealousy thrown in that ruined all that was IB .

Now coming to " show was going smooth": I know that it's a daily soap n there has to twists n turns n dangerous curves as well ... but at that point in time the seperation pinky etcetc was all like an random explosion . Why was that needed exactly at that point of time ?? Did she close all the loose ends that needed to see a closure ?? Romance what romance did we see really ??? We just saw them getting comfortable with each other not even a meaningful conversation happened between Shivika which was about themselves n their relation . What sacrifice really when the truth of why it happened is not going to revealed anytime soon ???

Shivay n Anika are what they are... along with being mature adults so some finesse n maturity should have been shown in dealing with their problems rather than this no heads but all tails track .

What I meant when I said self destruction : as you said they did many times before n failed because they stuck with yes we know better n we will do as we see fit . If 100's are saying rethink n redo why would you think only you ca n be right ?? N everyone else is not looking at things your way . Can't you put yourself in the viewers seat n think ? Is it so wrong to get new perspectives?

Ultimately at the end of the day all of us know they are writing it for the viewers, they need audience n TRP's . That is what will keep their creative juices flowing and will help them fight their battles n also a comeback if they fail again . So why not change just a little bit ?

You are / we're not rude n I agree with your pushing story forward , developing relationships as well as being true to characters is a huge really very huge responsibility so why not do it with little care, lots of thought and loads of responsibility ???

This is where I disagree with you : they did a tremendous job and gave us the beautiful show but ruined it and it's essence with all that they have done n are doing .

I am still hoping that after the much awaited reunion we will get our old IB back leaving behind this mind boggling hair pulling one where after watching most of us are left trying to make sense of what exactly did we see.

No apology needed . She is not being bashed for nothing ... when you talk big like aaj ki naari, nayi soch and even take up addressing social causes and deliver Zilch and get on to social media and talk about people bashing you for no reason the least she could do is own up to her mistakes n right the wrong( as per people's perspective) either that or keep the expectations low do not talk big n keep doing what you are . Limelight has its pros n cons as well .

In all this I forgot to mention the ever absent n self indulgent older generation of the family who are present only to dance eat n be merry but never to guide their kids thru the good bad and the ugly . Never seen such a dysfunctional family where the interaction between the older n younger generation is zero to none .( ofcourse we all know who the exception is). Except for marital / extra marital relations there is no family relation at all ( obros being another roundabout from normal) and they suddenly bring pinky , mom n god in one sentence ...

If this is a balanced way of writing I am yet to see what not so balanced means..

Omg do not even have the strength to go on about the writers n makers anymore ... But everyday they end up doing something which gets on to your already over cooked brains that we end up here venting .
