Welcome to Likhavat!
It is with great pleasure that Sara and Me are announcing this competition.
We would like to invite not only the established writers here but also the members that would like to try their hand at writing but shy away cause they fear recognition or the lack thereof. This contest allows for writing and that alone. No names attached. Confused? Let me explain.
Participants will forward their titled works to either of the two Thread handlers, Sara (PrincessAshVik) or Zoya (orion23). Only the pieces will be put on display and voting will then be carried out. It's the best way to let your work speak for you. It is a large morale booster to know that it's not your name but your work that is being loved.
So we request you all to please participate in large numbers. Don't simply be a reader, allow your imagination to be put in words. This forum has been family to us for a while now, it's time we make ourselves at home. Silent members, we hope to see you too!
RULES:
1) To confirm your entry send a PM to PrincessAshVik or orion23
2) The theme for this competition is "Rain and Angst - ShraMan". So these two should be present in your work and it should be on ShraMan. The rest of the premise, we leave to your creativity.
3) The entry must carry a title. It may or may not have a banner, your choice.
4) The word limit is 1000 words or less. Please stick to the word count.
The font to be used is "Times New Roman", size "3". It will have to be a new piece written especially for this contest.
5) Your entry should be sent via PM to PrincessAshVik or orion23 only. To maintain anonymity do not inform your friends of your title or your story. In an event that does happen, the story will be disqualified. Advertisement or requesting for votes is prohibited, will lead to disqualification. Please let your work do the talking, have faith in your writing.
6) We should receive your completed pieces on or before : 1st September 2017.
7) Having confirmed your entry, please send your piece on or before the set deadline. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
8) Please respect the rules to help us maintain the integrity of this contest.
