Just got to know that Kuch rang is finally ending, albeit abruptly but it will be ending soon. So I thought of saying a last goodbye to the people I came across on this forum, who were sporty enough to listen to my arguments about the show and pit forward their opinions too and to the people who kept me sane when I used to watch this show. Unfortunately, almost all those people have left the forum and this forum is officially the "Dev/Devakshi fanclub"
Anyway, I'm glad that the show is ending. I don't know if it's still as regressive as it was when I quit watching but I'm sure that it's not the show that I fell in love with. This show was different, it was real, it had logic, it talked sense. As a viewer, it made me fall in love with the subtle love story and the complex emotions. It's charm was magnificent. Starting from the story to the actors, everything seemed perfect but that was short lived. Soon after 100-150 episodes the show took the clich routes and went downhill and never came back to that initial charm. Sigh!
Thankfully, it's ending. I hope it ends on a happy and progressive note which doesn't disregard a woman or her role in making or breaking a house. I saw people hoping for an extension and going mad about getting that done but honestly what's left in the story? This show should have ended way back when Sonakshi decided to go back to Dev. Wasn't that the whole thing about? And wasn't this supposed to be a finite series?
