Anushka Sharma on her first meet with Ranveer Singh: He was hyperactive and restless
Anushka Sharma recalls her first meet with Ranveer Singh.
While Anushka Sharma made her dream debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, her second movie which was Band Baaja Baaraat saw the debut of Ranveer Singh. Since then, both the actors have never looked back and are shining in the particular craft of acting. The two went on to star in two other movies namely Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Dil Dhadakne Do.
When a leading daily asked Anushka about her first meeting with Ranveer, the actress revealed, "It was during his audition for Band Baaja Baaraat. The team had called me to do a scene with him. And he was just being Ranveer! (laughs). He was hyperactive and restless. If you ask me what was my first impression of him, I would say, Not much' (laughs)."
The actress also got candid about her first meets with Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
On Shah Rukh, Anushka said, "On the first day of the shoot for RNBDJ, he came as Suri. That's not how I expected to see Shah Rukh for the first time. But it was nice to see a more rooted SRK. He was extremely nice, humble and sweet to me."
On Ranbir, Anushka said, "I met Ranbir at the Yash Raj gym. I was doing RNBDJ and he was doingRocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Shimit's (Amin) film. It was nothing more than just an introduction. It was just Hi, hello, I am Anushka, I am Ranbir'. He congratulated me for the film."
