Inspite of claims of story distortion, opposing, critical views, the show- "Mahakaali- Anth hi Aarambh hay", is getting good ratings. Lets try to understand- why, what & how it's working, doing good.

1) Mystery- "Mahakaali", has lots of mysteries attached to her. Many of us want to know, understand her as an element, power, deep insight, various stories attached to this Phenomenal Goddess.

2) Story- Contemporary approach, a different intepretation of Mytho stories. Content is rich, since many versions are used.

3) The excitement- Viewers are hungry for good content. Keeping them hooked for 1 hrs epi is not an easy task. Hence things are drummed up at times.

4) Scope- Is vast. Showing Goddess Aadi Shakti's various forms, is the major winning pt.

5) Prformence- Actors are trying hard. With more detailing & support of other depts, overall performance can improve.

I agree...
of all adi shakti's form...mahakali is the most mysterious form...that mystery is intriguing...

i don't think its distorted...its just that they give a different approach to make it different what was being shown in other mytho show...

the thing is whether its DKDM...mahakali...they all have different versions...

in mahakali...sati left home n marries shiv
in DKDM...sati marry shiva in swayamvar

all have different versions...which one is the truth...the truth needs to be discovered...but its impossible...

Actually I really don't know where it is been opposed apart from IF members; I haven't seen the show been opposed anywhere apart from IF;
And regarding Critical views the show is getting I think it is equally getting appreciation also; the vfx and graphics are terrible it definitely needs lot of improvement; regarding the acting SRJ needs overall improvement; but
Pooja is fabulous no issue there;
Regarding Story Distortion I think every mythology or historical show till now has been distorted alot; previous shows like JSK; Jodha Akbar nd may more shows were distorted badly and the rest is History!!

There are many people who are loving Pooja Sharma as Mahakali and Sati; many people could relate to her; but I agree as Parvati I feel she needs to work on her expression and SRJ seriously needs to work hard for people to connect with him as Shiva; I still keep getting Krishna vibes from him

Pooja is fabulous & her performance is Just too good . Lastly we hardly had any shows on Mahakali I mean completely based on her so the mystery element too adds on to it as people might be curious to know about Mahakali.

Mahakaali's thrilling portrayal is one of her Mysterious aspect. Her unique quality of taking the war at
very different level, eg killing of Raktabeej, is something only She is capable of doing.

They have successfully created their own version. I would call them-Modern Mythos.

Media articles are written by reporters. They may rarely give -ve review.
True, Pooja is doing quite good as the lead. I would call her heroine & hero of the show.
SRJ looks like Krishna speaking in Mahadev's attire. He needs to improve.
Graphics needs to improve a lot.
Everyone wants to add their own touch to the Purana's version. I guess we'll have to get used to what is known as story distortion. But as long as the main thee & essence is not compromised with, such interpretations can be accepted.

Any different yet authentic content is always accepted by viewers.
Mystery, thrill, secrecy attached with Mahakaali, makes people wanting to know more about her. Hope the makers will keep the interest intact till end of the show.

I love the show, warts and all! But mostly because of the lead actors.

People said the confrontation with Daksha was too similar to cheerharan, but I was applauding Pooja, throughout. Especially, when she said those things to assembled gods.

Same for SRJ. I really hope to see Bhairav, again.

I just wish they'd let the story develop a little more slowly. Not to drag it out like cheerharan, but a little time to immerse fully into the tale would be nice. Same for the chemistry. Ratchet it up a notch from friends to spouses.
