OK u goota admit its that idiot BONEY KAPPOOR'S fault who exceeded the budget 😡 it was written in an article few days back that boney has escalated the budget for sridevi..the same stupidity he did for roop ki rani choron ka raja where the film bombed..look at the film it clearly did not require 35-38 crore budget...it could have been made within 15 crores and with 36 crores coming in already..the film would have been a sure short hit...its a good film and it could have worked well it just went the kahaani 2 way which also had a bigger budget compared to the first..

Still surprised. EV was shot extensively in US (and its budget was around 20) while this one in Georgia (Europe) for the climax only... Queen was shot extensively abroad with a low budget.

Box Office: Mom collections 60 lakhs in Week 4; total collections at Rs. 36.96 cr

The Ravi Udyawar directed film Mom starring Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna released a while back. Though the film did not enjoy a solo release and instead witnessed the film Guest Iin London releasing alongside it, Mom managed to hold its own.

After stunning the critics, Mom was well received by the audience as well despite the fact that the film featured a rather dark theme. After peaking in its opening week the collections of Mom gradually declined with newer releases hitting screens. After collecting Rs. 3.33 cr in its third week, the film still has managed to draw in a further Rs. 60 lakhs in its fourth week in cinemas.
With this the total collections of Mom at the close of its fourth week stand at Rs. 36.96 cr.
