“Introduced through Smriti’s father only”: Palash & his lawyer slams cheating allegations by Vidnyan Mane

The controversy surrounding music composer Palash Muchhal has taken a sharper turn, with fresh allegations adding fuel to an already sensitive situation. Actor-producer Vidnyan Mane has accused Palash Muchhal of cheating him of over Rs 40 lakh, allegedly invested in an unreleased film project. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Mane alleged that he witnessed shocking events during the wedding celebrations scheduled for November 23, 2025. He claimed Palash was caught in a compromising situation, leading to chaos and confrontation at the venue. Mane further stated that his trust in the relationship and financial dealings completely collapsed after the wedding was called off.

Palash Muchhal’s Lawyer Questions Credibility

Responding firmly to these accusations, Palash Muchhal’s advocate, Shreyansh Mithare, issued a detailed rebuttal. Questioning the timing and authenticity of the claims, Mithare noted that there is no evidence of any financial transactions, such as bank transfers or cheques, to support Mane’s allegations. He also dismissed the personal claims, asking for concrete evidence. According to the lawyer, Palash had no direct personal association with Mane and was introduced to him through Smriti Mandhana’s father. Mithare further questioned why Mane remained silent for months and chose to speak only after the wedding was called off, adding that Palash is now considering legal action.

Amid the growing controversy, Palash Muchhal issued an official clarification through his Instagram Stories. Calling the allegations false and defamatory, he stated that the claims were motivated by malice and intended to harm his reputation. He confirmed that his legal team is examining all available options and that the matter will be handled strictly through lawful means.
