Here is a short comparison between Kanak and Palomi. This will prove what makes Kanak a better wife for Uma than Palomi.
Kanak: She followed every instructions by Uma for the Dasi test. The feet water thing was actually ridiculous. She cooks good food and gave an awesome idea to save Uma's money. She can give excellent advises to Uma. She is brave enough to point out his mistakes and also tell him how to solve it. She can be patient if she determines to be. Vs
Palomi: She is already Uma's Dasi for years. She will not even refuse to drink Uma's feetwater. She can follow Masisa and cook good food. She can give advises on how to save money. But she is not someone Uma needs. Uma needs someone to point out his faults and tell him ways on how to correct them. Palomi will never be able to do that because she does not see any mistakes in Uma. Kanak only can do that.
