DISCLAIMER:- Long post. Not a biased post.
That's it. In past I have made many posts in favour of Sonakshi & against Dev. Even 2 days before, I was kind of mad at Dev for becoming over-protective & over-possessive about Sonakshi & so interfering but that's it. I can't stand it now. It troubles me like hell. Just because men are expected to be strong doesn't mean that these ladies of the Dixit house can make him weak in his knees every now & then with absolutely no fault of his. Vicky did such crime, everyone cries & makes him understand & no one says anything except "Maaf karde ise" & for Dev, suddenly everyone has got big mouths to open.
I haven't written a post on this forum in a long while but the recent happenings have prompted me to actually come up for Dev. And this time I actually want Sonakshi to stand up for him vocally too. It's good that you lent your husband your shoulder to cry upon but it's equally important that you bring everyone's attention to his POV & give all those Mahaan people a reality check & some advice.
I don't want past to be dug up again & again but these Mahaan people should understand past in the primary reason for person's present & future actions & decisions.
While I don't intend Sonakshi to be impolite with anyone but she actually has got some right to ask these questions.
And now I want Sonakshi to use her authority of being Elena's older sister, Bahu of the Dixit house & wife of Dev Dixit & ask few questions from all of these loving members of the family solely in consideration in this matter.
This is needed most at this moment where Dev is always subjected to all sort of emotional turmoils & has to take decisions on the gunpoint because either of people who he consider his family conveniently choose their sides according to their own level of hypocrisy.
Dev had been wrong sometimes but this is actually too much. This man has strong intuition, he has a foresight to protect his loved ones from every danger that possibly lingers around him. And that is needed in today's world else you won't even know where the time throws you.
So now a list of questions-
1. Elena- She is the prime convict in this matter. So, Elena dear, if you wanted to be support of your husband in his bad hours, then why did you not leave with him the moment he was thrown out. Would that have not proved your unconditional love for your husband. Elena always got to do what she wanted to do without showing a single sign of remorse for her actions.
All of a sudden you feel like you and Vicky are Golu's parents. Where was that feeling when the child strived for mere attention of you two. You weren't there. But Dev was. Even in his worst of time, he was with Golu as his father & mother. As his Big Cha, a superhero who he believes will never let anybody & anything harm him.
You told Dev the truth of past years, great. But you think that your loving husband who had never been there for you when needed is suddenly an absolute changed man with no bad record or intention whatsoever. I know matters of heart are different & complicated but have you actually stopped being rational. You want to support your husband, great. But why would separate a child from a family he loves as his own & otherwise. Why would you make your child even choose between his birth parents & the actual parent Dev had been for all these years. I know Dev's love know no bounds. He is fiercely loving & over-protective about all those people he loves which can seem to be overwhelming & too much sometimes. How conveniently you termed that Dev was entirely wrong in this fiasco. Vicky brought this upon himself. Dev's act of slapping Vicky in front of children might be wrong, but if Vicky had really wanted to be with kids, he could have informed any of the family member about this as a responsible elder of the family. There is nothing wrong in it. But no he chose the other way & made the children to lie at their home in the first place. No responsible parent can allow that given the history of your husband & would do something inspired by the very instinct of his own. God forbid, nothing happened. Who would you have made responsible of something happened to them? Do you even realize how dangerous is it for children of this age to lie to their own family members. Do you have any answers now?
2. Mamiji- Just in 2 days, you felt like what heavy injustice has been done to your son. How conveniently do you forget about what all Dev has done for you out of sheer love & respect for you. But still you term him absolutely guilty. Vicky was wrong & had always been doing wrong. Families don't conspire against each other, they don't try to spoil & destroy the lives of people who they consider their own. As a man who has just come to know of the prime reason for all the sorrows, his anger is justified in its place. And it won't go in an overnight. Pain & suffering of 7 years & those countless moments can't be forgotten like that especially when the one you considered family all these years is the one who inflicted it upon you without a regret. And most importantly, as if that wasn't enough, he tried to ruin the business he created & build with years of hard work & sleepless nights. Ma took keys from you & gave it to me, you felt bad. You felt like someone used you. You took care of this house for all these years & yet so conveniently she handed me over the keys without even asking you. And yet you think Dev should forgive & forget the recent treachery of Vicky & his attempt of making him bankrupt. Vicky should himself have asked any of us if he was picking children up. And he should have taken permission for Golu too because none of his past records have been clean enough that says he wouldn't use Golu in his ulterior motives. They are children. They innocence doesn't understand what is right & wrong. They just create a perception with what they see. No mother finds fault in her child but still they have faults & we should remind them about the same on time. You could have never been soft towards me if I had kept those keys with me then how do you expect Dev to be soft to Vicky. And sufferings & trust are not mere keys that we just handover to someone. They are heartfelt emotions, too delicate & only those who suffer knows of the pain it inflicts every time they are touched.
3. Ishwari ji- Ma, I know Dev is your son. For all these years, you thought that Dev could never be wrong. Nevertheless he did make some mistakes. But Dev has suffered always. In his childhood, in his adult life, in his married life & lot. Why can't you see as a mother that even though he is grown up married man with a daughter, he is still that vulnerable child who has just faced a lot in his life only because things weren't in his control. And now he can't allow anyone to take control of things & people in his life. He just can't do that. As a parent Dev had every right to be concerned about Soha & the moment he saw her with Vicky, he couldn't stand it. Vicky has never given Dev any reason to trust him despite the several chances he had been given. And may be to be able to be trust again he needs more time, love, support & reasons strong enough to trust someone again. A trust that is n't endangered by situations. A trust which is expected never to be broken ever again no matter what happens. Doesn't he have a right to have that in his life.
4. Soha- You are too young to understand some things but as you grow up you will. Things aren't always the same as they look like. Sometimes, you can't decide on who is right & who is wrong just because you saw something that you thought was wrong. Sometime, truth has another face, deeper roots which you might not know completely. And you shouldn't decide upon a situation only on a mere incidence. Your Papa knows what he does & it will always be best for you as you are his daughter and we are his utmost priority. He never leaves you when you need him the most. Then , how could you even think of leaving him when he needs us the most. We are his greatest weakness & the strength. And we shouldn't do anything to make ourselves as his greatest weakness. And you are just a child, you shouldn't even come up with such ideas of leaving home. You got him after years, he got you after years, and now he is just trying to ensure you are safe & do you want it to go like that. He shouldn't have slapped Vicky Chachu in front of you but you don't have the right come up with such a step of leaving the house. This is blackmail. You are making yourself his weakness now and we don't reveal our weaknesses to the outside world, they can use it against us. Do you want that? We are family & families stick together always & forever. They can have differences, fights but they resolve them at the end of the day & that's how we form a happy family. Just perfect family.
Please CVs, can we ever see Sonakshi take a public stand for Dev. Relationships are two-sided. Wife has the equal responsibility as the husband towards each other. Please show us this Rang & dimension of their relationship.
Even though I have no hopes from CVs now. Dev should now be declared official Sorry man of TV industry & a football with whom everyone plays according to their mood & the man actually gives into it because that's what that makes his family happy. Everyone behaves with him like a pet puppy whom everyone loves according to their mood. (Too Harsh but post leap most of the times people act like that with him.)
Families are complicated, relations are complicated but sometimes necessary decisions need to be taken for our own well being & peace. It's our ardent desire to keep them close that can lead to greatest break apart. Dev should find another home for Tripathis & let them live there & they can do whatever they want to do. But then this is a show, what will be left to serve if there isn't an indulgence of a negative character.
No bashes. I ain't an ardent Dev's character fan or anyone else's for that matter. But no one is perfect in a relationship. Everyone has flaws & it's the flaws of one & capacity of the other to deal with them in appropriate way that make the relations beautiful, healthy & long-lasting. Dev has done many efforts to cover Sonakshi's flaws at times & now I want Sonakshi to do the same for him.
P.S- Imagine these questions being asked as dialogues in Hindi. I have a bit problem with writing Hindi language in English. And I couldn't find a better place to let my frustration out. I didn't watch the last night episode. Came to the forum & saw some posts & that's it. I knew I was done.
