Ishita was busy in studying the case file when her phone rang. She looked at the caller's name and left it unanswered seeing her father's name. The phone rang for sometime and then stopped ringing. Ishita sighed in relief and start working again when it start ringing.

After many rings, she finally picked the phone and said-hello.

Appa-why u r not picking my phone.

Ishita-coz I don't want to talk to u.she answered blankly.

Appa-ishu,i am ur father, u can't answer me back like this .

Ishita-really,aapko aaj tak yeh baat yaad hai that u r my father. She said sarcastically.

Appa-mujhe tumse behas nahi karni.

Ishita-then why u called me.

Appa-i want u at home. Now.

Ishita-i am busy, I can't come.

Appa-i am not asking but telling u. Jaldi ghar aao.

Ishita-i told u naa, I am busy.

Appa-aao warna,

Ishita-warna kya karenge, Aap kya kar sakte hai appa. Maar dalenge mujhe, no u can't even do that, kyunki marne ke liye aapne choda hi nahi hai kuch.

Appa -please ishu, come home. Just for once, for my sake. He said softly making ishita's eyes filled. She closed her eyes and tears roll down her cheek.

She said in a husky voice -I am coming. Saying so she hung the call while appa look at amma and said-she is coming.

Amma get happy hearing this and said holding her hands-hey Murugan, aaj yeh rishta tay kara do. Now I want ishu to get settled in life. Bahut takleef seh li isne, now I want to see her happy.

Appa-but will they agree after knowing about Ruhi.

Amma-we will not tell them anything. Ishu ko bhi mana kar denge. Aur phir kal shaadi ho jayegi then they have to keep Ruhi.

Appa-i think it's a great idea. Chalo baahar chalo they must be waiting.

Amma nodded and both went out and said-ishu is coming, tab tak Aap log chai lijiye.

Toshiji nodded and start sipping tea, while Mr bhalla was looking around the house and Raman's eye were fixed on the door. He is really happy on his mother's idea to approach her parent directly. May be she is reluctant due to some past failure in relationship.

He remembered how toshiji got info about Ishita's parent, mainly her amma and approached her. And told amma that raman like ishita and she want to make ishita her daughter in law.

Amma got too happy hearing this and talked to appa. Soon their fathers talked and fix today's date for ishra roka.

Bhallas reached iyer house with many gifts making amma appa impressed. Finally after fixing everything, ishita was called and now they all were waiting for ishita to come .

Ishita got shocked hearing this and looked at her parent.

Appa-sit down, I am explaining.

Ishita looked at her father and said-what u told them.

Ishita-aur kya batana chahiye tha.

Ishita closed her eyes in frustration and said-unbelievable u r, r u guys even realising what u r doing. U people r cheating them. Arey unn ko nahi pata but Aap log toh jaante hai sach, bhale log mil gaye aur chal diye unhe cheat karne. She said angrily looking at her parent while bhallas and raman was shocked to see this avataar of ishita. They have always knew that she is in some kind of pain but now they r not getting what cheat she is talking about.

Amma-we just want to see u settle. Hum tumhara bhala chahte hai.

Ishita folded her hand and said-please mera bhala mat chahiye, aapke iss dikhawe se ghuttan hoti hai mujhe. Mujhe please akela chod dijiye. She said to her parent and then turned to raman and his family and said holding her hands-uncle-aunty. Aap log bahut achche hai. Bhallas were shocked to hear her denial, before could react appa said-u stay out of this ishita, we know what is right for u.

Ishita-no appa, not this time. Iss baar nahi appa.main yeh shaadi nahi karungi, please uncle aunty chale jaiye yahan se, joh khushiyan Aap apne bete ke liye khoj rahe hai, main nahi hoon woh. Aapke bete bahut achche hai aunty, unke liye roshni dhoondhiye,mujh jaisa andhera nahi, saying so she was going when Raman hold her hand and said-but kyun ishita, don't u trust me. don't u feel anything for me. Kyun iss tarah se mujhe thukra rahi ho. Aakhir kya galti hai meri.

Before ishita can say anything Ruhi came out rubbing her eyes saying, mumma godi.

Ishita went to ruhi's and picked Ruhi in her arms and said-galti aapki nahi hai, it's my fault, my destiny's fault that I don't deserve it love.i have a past, a very ugly and painful past aur jiska sabse soothing part yeh hai, meri beti, meri ruhi. She said looking at Raman making bhallas shocked.

Raman -tumhari beti.

Ishita-yes, my daughter. I was married. Shayad ab aap log ko mere inkaar ki wajah pata chal gayi hogi and now u will not bother me anymore. Saying so she went upstairs taking little Ruhi in her arms.

Raman was stunned and do was his parent. They look at amma appa with accusing eyes when appa said-i can explain.

Mr bhalla -kya explanation denge aap, ur daughter is already married and has a child too. Ab kya explain karenge.

Amma-its nor her fault but ours. We got her married without her consent, her husband and family were very cruel. They abused, beat, tortured ishita for dowry and at last they burned her. She said crying making bhallas shocked to wits.

Toshiji-kya ishita was tortured for money. Usse jala diya gaya tha.

Amma nodded and said-yes her arms r burnt, though she was saved by her helps but that incident broke her completely. She was saying and crying.

Raman got up hearing this and said-can I talk to her once.

Amma-i don't think, ki woh baat karegi. Woh humse bhi baat nahi karti.

Raman -atleast let me try.

Amma nodded and raman went to her room while bhallas sat with iyers to know what happened with her in detail.

Raman reached her room and went inside with knocking. Ishita was sitting hugging Ruhi tight to her heart, Ruhi was sleeping peacefully in her mother's arms as she was waked in between while tears were rolling down Ishita's eyes.

Raman sat next to ishita and wiped her tears. Ishita opened her eyes and saw raman sitting next to her. She was getting up in a jiffy when Raman hold her hand and said-dheere se bachchi jag jayegi.

Ishita looked away and said-why u still here, ab chale jaiye yahan se, ab toh aapko pata hai naa, ki main nahi hoon aapke kaabil.

Raman -yeh kisne kaha tumse ki sirf issliye tum kisi ke kaabil nahi coz u were married, coz u were abused and coz u have a cute baby.

Ishita looked at Raman in shock hearing this from him.

Raman-yes I know u think that u don't deserve any happiness but mishap toh kisi ke saath bhi ho sakta hai. Mere saath bhi hua tha, u remember, I too lost my hope towards life, but u were the one who bring life back in me. Tumne naa sirf mujhe jeena shikhaya but sar utha kar jeena sikhaya coz I was right then why u r not applying same with u. Tumhare saath joh bhi hua usme tumhari galti toh nahi thi naa, then why u r feeling so low about urself.

Ishita cried hearing his soothing words and said-u don't raman, mere saath kya kya hua hai.

Raman smiled hearing his name from her for the first time.

Raman -u called me raman today, that means somewhere u have accepted me in ur life. Toh agar maan liya hai toh apna dare bhi baantt lo mere saath. U will feel better by sharing ur pain and I will also feel better that u shared ur pain with me.

Ishita looked at him with moist eyes when Raman closed his eyes assuring her that he is ready to listen.

Ishita made Ruhi sleep finally decided to tell Raman everything.

Ishita sat in front of raman preparing herself to share the most painful part of her life while Raman was just waiting for her to start.

Finallt she start saying-two and half years back, I got married to subramaniyam reddy. All calls him subbu. I was in final year of law,i don't want to get married but appa force me to marry him as he was well settled. Though I don't want but got married. I passed my exam with flying colours but no-one allowed me to practice. I too accepted it as my destiny. It was the first night of our marriage, subbu came fully drunk, he start touching me. I wasn't feeling good but I wasn't resisting too coz I know it's his right. But he was animal, he started biting all over my body like a monster. I was crying bitterly to let me go but he didn't hear to any of my plea and finally raped me brutally on the very first day of our marriage. It wasn't love, he forced himself on me, he was not sober raman, he was a monster. She said crying while Raman fist got tight in anger.

Raman -phir kya kiya tumne, tumne apne parent ko bataya.

Ishita-yes, I told this to amma but she took it lightly, kaha jaldi sab thik ho jayega. Adjust Karna sikho.i started trying to adjust but nothing changed. Unke torture badhte hi jaa rahe the. And in mid of all this, he was raping me everyday, Ek baar nahi do baar nahi, I was raped for five months, continuously. Koi nahi tha meri help me liye, whenever I call my parent, they just say one thing, to adjust. Kitna adjust karti main, aur kisse, everyone was monster. Subbu use to burn me with ciggarate whenever I try to stop him. I was living in hell Raman, Jahan roshni ki koi umeed nahi thi. But one day, I met one of my friend. I told her everything about my problem. She wanted to help me and for that, she brought police in our house to arrest them but mere mahaan amma appa ne subbu ka saath diya, they told them that they never misbehaved with me. It's my drama. I was broken, broken into zillion pieces thinking that no-one want me in their life that's why everyone is treating me like this. I left every hope on life, my family was treating me like shit while my parent were telling me to plan a baby. Unhe lagta tha, baby ho jaane se sab thik ho jayega, woh jaanwar insaan ban jayega but I knew well nothing like that will happen ever. And like god heard my parent's wish ,I finally pregnant. Mujhe bharosha tha ki kuch nahi badalne wala, but Ek choti si umeed thi, ki shayad ab subbu badal jaaye, but nothing like that happened. She said calmly while tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.

Raman -kya hua.

Ishita-when I confirmed the news that I am pregnant, I was very happy. Like every wife I too want my husband to love me, pamper me. But aisa kuch nahi hua, when I came out of my room to tell the news, all hold me tight and tied me with a rope. I remember subbu's horrible face, he was saying that as appa couldn't give them money and now he is bored of me, it's better if I die. And they start throwing kerosene on my body, his legs were on my face, I couldn't even tell him, that dont kill me, I am pregnant with ur baby. They don't give me a single second to save myself and next moment I was in fire. U know raman, jab aapko koi zinda jalaata hai toh kaisa lagta hai. Feels like several needles r being poked in ur skin in the same time, itna dare hota hai, itna dare, it's impossible to handle, I could have died in few minutes but like god has written life for my child. Their servant called the cops and finally they all got arrested. I don't know when I was taken to hospital but I knew one thing that, that day their servant, who I called kaka, he saved my life. He gave me another birth. A birth to fight against the demon of the society. And that day I took an oath to not to spare anyone who did wrong to anyone. She said wiping her tears while Raman couldn't stop himself and hugged her from back. At first she resisted but later start crying hugging him tight while he was also crying thinking about the pain she went through.
