Preeta was waiting for the cab outside the lutra house. She was extremely late today. Karan saw her waiting from his balcony and thought this is the right time to start his plans. He took his car keys and drove his car out of the house. He stopped the car exactly front of preeta and opened the window and gave her signals to preeta to sit in the car. Preeta ignored him and looked somewhere else. The next thing what Karan wanted to do was to bang his head somewhere for accepting the bet out of all the girls his brother found this lady. Girls die for his attention and this psycho lady just throws attitude on him. Karan controlled his rage and came out of the car. He looked towards preeta.
Karan : preeta I will drop you home. It is late at night and it is not safe for you.
Preeta : off course it is not safe for me to accept ur offer. U don't know to drive. The person who gave you the license was blind. Why are you so concerned about my safety?.
Karan : see you take care of my dadi. So I want you to be safe to come work. Anyway I had work on that side so I thought to drove you.
Preeta was hesitant to accept but it was too late. Sarla aunty and shristi could be concerned. She went and sat in the passenger seat.
Karan sighed at the thought "last something convinced her".
Karan was driving the car. Preeta was sitting quietly.
Karan : why don't you speak something?.
Preeta : what is there to speak? I want peace .
Karan whispered " after eating my peace you want that ".
Preeta : what did you whisper?.
Karan : nothing .
The rest of the journey went like that only. Karan tried many ways to get preeta talk to him normally but she never used give him a chance.
Preeta : stop the car.
Karan : what? Why?
Preeta : My house is little far from here. I will walk and go.
Karan : I can drop you there.
Preeta : Mr Karan luthra may be you don't know the locality or society. If any one sees you dropping me there at this time of the night. They could raise fingers on me and my character. I don't want it. Thank you I will manage.
Preeta opened the car door and went out and disappeared in the crowd.
Karan driving back home thinking of preeta. Karan luthra had seen many girls dying to show people off by using him but preeta was the first one who did not want it, she was different maybe that's why his brother respected her so much. Karan suddenly found preeta's purse in the car. May be she had forgotten it. Since he had not drove so far from the place he thought to return it back. He drove back and parked his car at some place and Karan took umbrella as it was raining and started searching for preeta's house. Then he remembered he did not have her address. He took out his phone and phoned his brother.
Karan : bhai give me preeta's address please. I have not doing anything . I just went to drop her and she forgotten her purse I have to return it back to her. Fine thank you.
Finally the address Karan smiled as he got Rishabh's message came. Karan was going to another direction when he heard a similar laughter and he turned to see preeta playing in the rain like a small child. She seriously looked mesmerizing while playing in the rain. Karan stood there watching her like that. The rain stopped and preeta went but Karan stood here only. The vehicles horns brought him back from his lost world. He looked around to find preeta she was no where there.
Karan knocked the door of preeta's house and a young girl opened it. For once Karan thought he was in wrong place.
Karan : I have come here to meet preeta. Her purse she left in Karan only.
Shristi was surprised to see Karan luthra standing here. She never knew her di worked in such a big house.
Shristi : oh you have come to meet my di. I'm shristi her sister. I'm ur big fan.
Karan smiled hearing it. So Someone from her family likes him.
" who is that shristi? " came a voice and Karan turned towards it to see preeta coming in her night suit drying her hair which was wet. Karan stood like a statue starting at her. Preeta approached him and her scream brought him to the real world.
Preeta : what are you doing here?.
Karan : your purse. I wanted to return it.
Preeta : thank you. I think you should leave.
Preeta closed the door on karan's face .
Karan stood like that and finally left the place confused.
Karan reached the house to see Rishabh standing here.
Rishabh : Karan seriously not done. I was worried. How is preeta?
Karan : she is beautiful like angel.
Rishabh : I know. I asked did she reach her house safely?.
Karan came to his senses that time which he lost because of preeta. The realization dawned him that time " did he just said to his brother that preeta looks like a fairy ".
Karan came back to his old style.
Karan : off course she is safe she shut the door upon my face. Can you believe she did that. I will never help her. By the way her sister is a big fan of mine.
Rishabh : u have gone to her house at late night she did not want anyone seeing it there. U don't understand the society Karan.
Karan : u both think so similar. I don't want anymore lecture. I'm going to sleep.
Karan went away without seeing that Rishabh was smiling thinking about preeta.
Karan got up after trying to sleep. It was the fourth time he got up after he came. He was not getting sleep as whenever he sleeps preeta's face comes in front of him.
Karan muttered " she is not letting me sleep ".
He took his phone and dialled her number without thinking of anything.
Preeta did not pick the call as she was too sleepy but when the phone was ringing every time she picked up without seeing the number.
In sleepy voice she said " hello who are you? Sleepy can't talk please call tomorrow " and cut the call and went to sleep.
Karan was annoyed did she cut the call? And she is sleepy after taking away his sleep. Karan was bored he could not sleep. He troubled everyone
While calling them. Finally he called his best friend rehaan.
Karan : rehaan how are you? Look rehaan I am fine OK. Nothing happened.
Best friend is someone who will know better than u. So Karan could not hide this from rehaan. He told rehaan everything. And the reply he got made Karan mad. He cut the call and threw the phone on the bed.
He was walking in his anger. He muttered angrily " stupid rehaan did he tell I'm smitten by Ms psycho preeta no way no one has smitten Karan luthra no one will ".
Karan took his phone again to phone and scold rehaan. He took his phone but a notification came about a friend request by shristi. He accepted it. He got access to her photos and posts. So he laid on his bed and started seeing her post. It's preeta's sister's account so obviously he will get preeta's photos. He went through the posts and found preeta's pictures. Some smiling pictures brought smile to him also, he saved one of her pictures and looked at him sleep came to Karan.
Karan luthra is smitten will he ever realize that?.
