HI Folks,

HAPPY FRIDAY to all!!

After al,out getting pushed over the edge earlier this week when Bituwa became too psycho for my liking and I thought the end of the road is near for me...the week ended up well with today's episode...

The roka scene was signature Gul...who does romantic scenes like no one...No words were spoken...except ,a few (which was perfect)..,. And there were beautiful shots of Advay and Chandani...and beautiful expressions...which I have come to expect from Barun Sobti...but Shivani really impressed me today with her expressions...The moment that he put the red dupatta on her...he looked at her, and she looked at him...something transpired...it changed something...The expression were totally on the money!! HIgh marks to both actors and the director for doing that scene so beautifully!! the song selection was also perfect!!

Overall the scene worked beautifully! Nothing about it felt fake...or an ego trip...

REALLY ENJOYED IT!

Now I am going to say something..you are probably not expecting to hear...

Think Ms Shiralis experiment on Advay's wardrobe actually worked this time...The striped suit looked awesome and very youthful on Advay...The blue shirt complemented it perfectly and the fit was good too! So I will give credit where credit is due...This was different...but it looked classy!! 👍🏼

And I should mention...the haircut is just right...It totally clicked with the look!

Infact I liked the use of denim for the entire cast...It was not traditional...but it made a very good image!

Finally we are seeing some other dimensions in Advay's character...like the one that respects Chandani as a woman...and can not hear dirty talk about her from PP...

It also knocked PP several notches down...and lifted Advay several notches up...Absilutely great contrast!

The direction about expression of anger...but again not losing it or going psycho to actually hurt PP was awesome! 👏

And finally the last scene worked ...I like a somewhat agressive Chandani who is confused and a quiet Advay...who is not hateful but just sure of himself...and a bit amused...

Excellent end of the week ...where a lot didn't work...(about which a lot has been written already) and finally something that did work and not only it worked...it worked beautifully!!

Ok...I am done...Credit for the ccollages to lovely Shwets ,.,and for some caps to @MinocheBS...Thank you so much for these collages and shots that really helped me show what I was talking about!

Hi.. agree with most things.. except the striped trousers😆 the waistcoat and blazer would have been ok if the trousers were of the same color as the shirt IMO😛.. But the costume designer is stuck with the blue stripey fabric since the day before. Chai-fiasco epi me Chandu ka blouse had the same blue stripey fabric...or was it just me🤔

Ha ha...I do agree...solid pants would have been better with the striped coat...but there were not many shots of the pants...so I didn't want to be too critical...I think what she did get right was the open collar shirt...and no tie...that gave it a very good look...

When I first saw the pic of the Roka scene I was very unsure of the outfits but in the actual telecast I think it looked good! Different, but good. Barun carried off the striped suit really well 😳

And yes, the Dupatta moment had Gul Khan written all over it! This is what she does best and it was beautiful. Very subtle, nothing over the top. The glances exchanged between Advay and Chandni felt very natural. Great work by Barun and Shivani - and of course the director as well! 👍🏼

And lovely caps. Nice to visualize that moment again in my mind...with the help of the pics!

I have a feeling psycho Advay is going to be rearing his head once in a while - I don't mind though because he is supposed to be an anti-hero

I hope not...while I understand hard feelings...and strong feelings...What I like is who the person is at the core...Because the feelings are not forever...the person at the core is...

You mean like Arnav was an angry young man but at core was a good person? just had temper control issues? I guess they kinda conveyed that when the first scene of Advay was him rescuing a puppy?
