It's official: Priyanka Chopra to produce a TV series based on Madhuri

During her recent India visit, Priyanka
Chopra had hinted about her exciting tie up
with Madhuri Dixit over a new project. While
she did not reveal the details at the time, she
had mentioned that she will announce it
when the project is finalised.
An international daily reported today, that
the Priyanka Chopra - Madhuri Dixit project
has taken off. That's right, PC, along with
ABC, will produce the comedy series that
follows a Bollywood actor aka Madhuri Dixit
and her life of marrying and settling down
in USA and how things move on from there.
Sri Rao, who has written shows such as
General Hospital: Night Shift, shared a
picture of himself, Priyanka Chopra and
Madhuri Dixit on his social networking
handle saying, "Thrilled to finally announce
my exciting new project with these two
legends and icons @MadhuriDixit
@priyankachopra."
Rao will pen the pilot and also executive
produce the series along with Madhuri's
husband, Sriram Nene. Other executive
producers are Mark Gordon and Nick
Pepper, who are known for their series Ray
Donovan, Grey's Anatomy and Quantico
among other shows. ABC Studios will
produce the show.

as a madhuri fan going to watch this, but fingers crossed it works! 🥳

Madhuri is sooo over-rated .. she isn't bad but nothing like the diva that BW people make her sound like. But then who isn't over-rated in BW
