Sonu is king of romantic songs when he sings he do romance with his voice expressions while arijit singh sound bland in romantic songs he just sing in shout mood with a sad voice . arijit might be good enough but in comparison of sonu , arijit sound bland when it come to love expressions

indeed no one can express lyrics like sonu nigam does ... no arijit no ankit no one is even close to him be it in romance be it in sad songs be it in funky songs be it in party songs he can do it all its just he got senior enough for new music directors as a singer no singer in present is even close to talent of Sonu Nigam...

Listen this "Panchi nadiyaan pawan ke jhonke" 1st part is of arijit singh where he killed that song in a monotonous way and listen to 2nd part of sonu where he actually feel the song

No music directors respect the singers much now
They can remove a song at their will
They also can edit a song if they want
So it is better he does not sing now

probably because arijit sings at far less rate than sonu nigam and also sonu nigam ke saath kuch royalty ka locha chal raha hai 😆

while I agree Sonu is a gem, others deserve a chance too - but ya, Arijit was horrible in the latest song from JHMS "Hawayein".

King of Romance? Righteo so he has just one area where he is best at so ok i agree there. But that doesn't mean others cannot be given chances it depends on the mood of the song the temp and situation if they feel someone else will be able to do justice to it then they will pick that one
