Danny takes Kusum to his place & tells Laxminandan & Ghuman about going ahead with her.
Laxminandan: But Kusum is married.
Danny: Yes, but she is not happy there. Her husband tortures her daily.
Arjun & Kumud too go there. Saras comes out to see Kumud. He gets so much engrossed in her that he does not see Arjun.
Laxminandan: But it is upto her elders to decide. Without proper divorce, we cannot proceed with this relationship.
Ghuman: And what will people talk? It will be a disgrace for us to accept a woman who is already married.
Kumud comes in. She said, "But look at her state. How she has been beaten up mercilessly?"
Kumud: Kusum turn your back. Let them see your bruises.
Kusum turns her back.
Laxminandan: What does your parents say?
Kumud: They want to send her to that place again after Holi. They feel things will be fine once they talk to Pramad's parents to which I disagree. What is the guarantee that he won't beat her again? On the contrary, they will torture her more. Do the parents push their children into such marriages only to see this day?
Ghuman: Look child, making your married life happy or miserable is in your hands. Kusum might not have satisfied him in some way & he might have got frustrated.
Kumud: They want dowry for which Kusum is not ready to tell dad.
Ghuman calls Saras and said, "See what Kumud is saying?"
Saras: Kumud has a point. Today it has happened with Kusum. Tomorrow if the same thing happens to your daughter how will you react? Danny loves Kusum a lot & he has not moved on his life for that reason. He is getting a second chance now. We are the only ones to support them. Please agree to this relationship.
Laxminandan: I agree with Saras & Kumud. They have opened my eyes. I will speak to her parents about Dansum.
Ghuman agrees.
Meanwhile, there is an argument between Pramad's parents & VC.
Pramad's dad: If Kusum does not come, there is no place for her in my house hereafter.
VC: First of all you people don't know to behave with a ghar ki Lakshmi bahu. Pramad beats her only for the want of money. He also has an extra-marital affair. I thought of resolving it here but I don't think it will be resolved. Kumud is absolutely right. So it is better we end this relationship.
Pramad's mom: Fine, but no one will marry your younger daughters.
Guniyal: You don't have to worry about that. Kumud's wedding is already fixed with Saras.
Pramad's mom: Do you even know what Kumud is doing behind your back? She has an affair with your music student. We have observed these things since Pramad's wedding.
Kallika comes in. She said, "I saw them hugging each other tightly. "
VC: What rubbish? Kumud is as pure as my music. If your words turn out to be right, I will have nothing to do with music.

Arjun & Kumud rejoice about convincing Danny's parents.

In the second round, we promise to be with each other in good & bad times. In the third one we promise sickness & health, respect one another. In the fourth round, I come ahead of you so when death comes it has to cross me before it comes to you.
Arjun: No that cannot be. Neither you will die before me nor will you die after me. We will live & die together.
Both hug each other.
Suddenly, there is a voice shouting KUMUD.
She turns back & is shocked to see VC.
