DP lobbying for Shoojit film despite non meaty part

EVEN as Varun Dhawan is set to star in ace director Shoojit Sircar's next film, October', the big story is who the heroine is. We hear Deepika Padukone has approached Sircar, and is keen to work with him on this film. The film is a rom-com and will clearly have Dhawan pulling off his famous hijinks, while Padukone will not have the meaty parts that she is used to. But she considers Piku' to be one of the finest films she has done, and wants another film with Sircar. The filmmaker is clearly in an enviable spot, since Padukone is so busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, she's barely reading other scripts. Top that with the fact that the sequel to Vin Diesel's xXx' has been announced, and no one's mentioned Padukone's name yet. Since the first one was a forgettable blip on her career graph, she may as well bask in the sunshine of her homeland.

Film starts in a few weeks..

Dont think this would be possible the film will start in few weeks and deepika is clealry busy with Padmavati had she been able to squeeze out some time she wouldve done that for ALR and SRK who wanted her in the dwarf film.

I don't think she'll look good with Varun
