Raman hold ishita's hand and said-hold me tight gudiya, I need u now.
Ishita nodded and hold his hand firmly. Raman closed his eyes and tried to compose himself then he opened his eyes and went to his room holding ishita's hand. He was going to his room when his eyes fell on toshiji who was looking at Mr bhalla and his family with moist eyes. Raman went to her and said-kamre mein chal maa.
Toshiji looked at Raman and said-mehmaan aaye hai puttar, let me help others to serve them. She said meekly trying to suppress her sob.
Raman -no need maa, others will serve them. Tu chal mere saath, I can't leave u here. He said and took toshiji from there while she was turning and looking at Mr bhalla, who was also looking at them only.
Everyone was welcoming mr bhalla and his family while raman's grandma was looking for raman and toshiji but they were nowhere.
Raman's grandma went to Raman's room and saw them sitting on the bed.
Grandma-raman, tere papa aayen hai. Don't u wanna meet him. Toshi, omi aaya hai.
Raman -sorry dadi, but we don't want to meet him, see him. Woh apni family ko saath khush rahen, hum apni mein khush hai. He said angrily when his dadima said-puttar, Ek baar mil le.
Raman was about to deny when Toshiji nodded and said-aap jaiye, we r coming.
Raman look at her but toshiji signalled him to be silent. His grandma went out and raman said-i don't want to meet him.
Toshiji cupped his face and said-tu mera achcha bachcha hai naa, if u could come here just for me then please do this one for me too.
Raman nodded and said-ok maa, but for u. I am doing everything just for u. Just finish it.
Toshiji nodded and was going out when appa amma came to their room with their luggage.
Raman saw them and asked-aap Kahin jaa rahe hai appa.
Appa-yes, I had to go. Ek important meeting hai.
Raman -i know u r going coz papa came here, but don't go appa I want u with me.
Appa-nahi kanna, aisi koi baat nahi hai. I am going coz I have some work. Aur rahi baat tumhare papa ko, toh kanna u have to deal with it alone as its ur right with ur inner self. Tumhe khud ko khud hi sambhalna hoga. Mera interfere karna galat hoga.
Raman -but appa, I need u now.
Appa took raman in side hug and said-u don't worry, I am leaving ur strength with u. Ishu tumhare saath yahin rahegi. She has the power to make u fine. Hum jaa rahe hai bas,uska khayal rakhna.she is ur responsibility.
Raman -i will take care of her more then my life. Aap pareshan mat hoiye.
Appa-i am not worried for her but u. U know she is bit mad. He said making Raman smile while ishita made a baby face. She went to appa and said-aapne mujhe mad kaha, I am angry with u.
Appa smiled and hugged Ishra on either side and told them to take care of each other like always. Ishra nodded and hugged appa back. Then they hugged amma and raman took her blessings. They amma hugged toshiji and told her to be strong and went. Then all went out together. Ishra went to bid adieu to iyers while Toshiji went where Mr bhalla and his family was sitting.
Mr bhalla's wife made a dirty face seeing Toshiji and said-what she is doing here.
Before Toshiji could reply anything raman came and said-we r here to see my grandpa, do u have any problem. And if u have, he was saying when Toshiji told him to meet his dad.
Raman just nodded and went to Mr bhalla and did namaste. Mr bhalla got up to hug him but he went back to his mother.
That's when Raman's grandfather came and welcomed mr bhalla. He touched his parent's feet and told the same to his wife but she just ignored them. His daughter too did the same seeing their mother's attitude.
Raman's grandfather told everyone to get freshen up and then have their food. Everyone nodded and was going to their respective room when Mr bhalla came to Raman and asked-kaise ho.
Raman looked at him and said-very happy, without u.
Mr bhalla felt bad at his indifference but asked-woh choti bachchi kaun hai tumhare saath.
Raman -she is my friend, mere saath mera gaon ghoomne aayi hai.
Mr bhalla -very cute kid, but her parent left her with u.
Raman -yes, coz they trust me for ishita. Aur unka vishwas nahi todunga.i will take care of her, aapki tarah nahi hoon, joh beech raaste mein saath chod doon. He said and went taking ishita from there.
Ishita was trying to make him calm but Raman was just too angry with his father's presence and don't want to leave any chance to hurt him, just like the way his father has hurt him.
Later in night, everyone was sitting and having food while Mr bhalla was struggling with his two daughters as they were being fussy in eating the Indian food. They wanted pizza to eat. He was trying hard to feed them but they were no where listening. Mr bhalla called his wife but she was busy in her phone.
Seeing Mr bhalla struggling, toshiji said-aao bachchon main khila deti hoon.
Mr bhalla smiled and was giving his daughters to toshiji when Raman hold her hand and said-why u will feed them .jinhone paida kiya, woh unn logon ko take care karenge, meri maa nahi. Aap sirf mujhe aur gudiya ko khila sakti hai aur kisi ko nahi maa.
Toshiji -raman, I was just helping, she was saying when Raman's grandfather said-he is right, toshi. Tum sirf apne bete ka khayal rakho. Om u tell ur wife to feed it daughters.
Mr bhalla nodded and went to call his wife. She came with a dirty face and said-whats this Om,why will I feed them. U always feed them. Oh god, here everything is so boring. Please finish everything and go from here, it's so suffocating here.
Raman -itna suffocating hai toh aayi hi kyun, waise bhi it's not the atmosphere which is suffocating. It's ur presence which is making the atmosphere suffocating .
Mr bhalla's wife -what the hell, have u heard, what he is saying. I must say he is just a ill mannered boy.
Mr bhalla -can u please shut for sometime, and Raman u too.
Raman -main kyun chup rahun. I am telling the truth. He was saying when ishita held his hand and said meekly-raman please chup ho jaiye.
Raman temper get down hearing her voice ,he looked at her and nodded. Then he start eating again ignoring mr bhalla and his family while his grandparent smiled seeing ishra bonding.
After that no-one talked, all had their food in complete silence.
Later at night, all were about to sleep when Raman couldn't find ishita. He started checking all rooms and with everyone but she was nowhere. He got worried to no end, he start running here and there to find her wheb he got banged into someone. He said sorry and was going when Mr bhalla told his hand and asked-raman, where r u going at this hour. Kisi ko dhoondh rahe ho.
Raman nodded and said-my gudiya, woh kahin mil nahi rahi. Kahan chali gayi, abhi toh yahin thi. Hey matarani please keep her safe, this village is new for her. He was go on saying without realising what he is telling wheh Mr bhalla said-raman, I saw her going to terrace. U go and check. And please stop panicking puttar, she must be here only.
Raman -panic naa karun, she is my responsibility, my gudiya. aapko kya pata, jab koi pyaar karne wala aise chod kar chala jaata hai toh kaisa lagta hai. It feel like killing urself for someone else mistake. He said and ran to terrace leaving his father shocked and guilty .
Raman ran on the terrace calling her name and could finally see her sitting in the corner. He sighed in relief and went to her. He hugged her tight and said-pagal ho kya, Kahan chali gayi thi. I was so worried for u. He was saying when he realised her eyes were red and teary .
Raman -tu ro kyun rahi hai. Kuch hua kya, kisi ne kuch kya tujhe.
Ishita hugged Raman tight and said-i want to go to appa. Mujhe ghar jaana hai.
Raman got shocked hearing this and said-kya hua bachcha. Kisi ne kuch kaha kya tujhe.
Ishita nodded in no.
Raman -toh kya hua, why u want to go back.
Ishita-kyunki Aap bahut gussa karte ho. Aap mere Raman nahi ho. U r just so angry. Mujhe darr lagne lagaa hai aapse. Aap har kisi se gussa ho, mujhse bhi achche se baat nahi karte. Aap apne papa se bhi gande se baat karte ho. I am not liking this new Raman. Mujhe meri raman wapas chahiye, or else send me to appa. Mujhe nahi rehna aapke paas. She said crying hugging Raman tight.
Raman got shocked hearing this. He couldn't even imagine how much his little baby is scared just because of his anger. He closed his eyes trying to calm and compose himself ,so that he could console her.
After few minutes, he opened his eyes and picked her in his arms. Then he sat on the corner and make her sit in his lap. She just rested her head on his chest and said-aap please gussa mat kariye, mujhe darr lagta hai.
Raman cupped her face and said-really sorry gudiya. I didn't realise how much scared I made u. But not anymore, tumhe gusse wale raman se darr lagta hai naa.
Ishita nodded in yes.
Raman -toh promise, ab tumhara raman bilkul gussa nahi karega, ekdum nahi, tiny miny wala bhi nahi.
Ishita looked at him and said-promise.
Raman nodded and said-my baby's promise. Tum nahi chahti main gussa karun naa, toh main bilkul gussa nahi karunga. U just stop crying.
Ishita nodded and wiped her big tears.
Raman -good, now smile.
Ishita smiled a little, Raman make her smile more widely and soon she started laughing talking to raman. He was happy seeing ishita smiling and took out a chocolate from his pocket.
Raman -see what I have brought for u.
Ishita got happy seeing the chocolate and start eating it while Raman was just holding her firmly admiring her smiling face.
