Neil's Love Vs Avni's Love

I was thinking today that it's interesting where Neil and Avni are each at in this relationship. Every time they think of each other, there is a difference in the sequences.

Has anyone noticed? Neil always thinks of their first meeting. The first time he really saw her, when he saved her. That is "Etched" in his mind. This makes it clear that he had feelings for her from the very beginning. I think we all saw it. He denied them, fought them, covered them, pretended he didn't have them. But they were always there. Throughout the wedding sequence, especially on the Mehendi day, the way he was staring at her. Everyone noticed his partiality, their chemistry and this was all due to Neil. Even now when he thinks of his moments with Avni he starts from the very beginning.

Whereas Avni thinks of the times mostly after the marriage. Because it was after the marriage she really started to feel closer to Neil and started to emotionally invest in the relationship. When she realized Neil knew who she was, and instead of arresting her or rejecting her, he accepted her and wanted to help her, THAT was when she started to really let herself feel anything for him. Before I think she was too scared to let him in. One he was Rhea's fiancee and other he was a Police officer and he was way too smart. She could not let him get in her head and ruin her plans.

This time when she was leaving and she was thinking in the cab, it was interesting to see she thought of their wedding day, then of their shared moments in their room and how he supported her during Amol fiasco. So that makes it clear that since the marriage, he has taken a stronger hold on her heart and she is in love with him now.

So in my estimation, Neil was in love a lot earlier and Avni started to fall in love later. So it will take time for each of their feelings to meet on common ground and equalize.

The editing team has been very careful consistently on what they show as flash back of Neil and Avni

Neil is totally in love and close to realizing and voicing out (if he knew even a slightest hint of where he stands wrt Avni ) and Avni is still taking baby steps towards Love - she doesnt even know that what she feels for Neil is Love .

They do have a long way to go to be on the same page in this relationship

I remember one conversation of Neil and Neela Ma few days back over phone where she says something on the lines like - Avni loves you and she is still in the path of getting to know that its Love and the future of this relation depends on if you ( Neil ) are ready to wait for her to come around .

The symbolism they showed during wedding when the wedding knot was about to come off and Neil holds it and secures it tight .. I think that totally gave an indication of how their relationship is gonna progress. 😊

For a change its nice to see the ML trying to keep the marriage and relationship safe ,alive and going while the FL is clueless of it all 😆

Totally agree. Avni is someone who didn't trust men or love relationship. She saw both her Mother's let down in love. Abandoned in love. She loves Ali as a friend but it's not a romance. The first time she has come close to romantic love is with Neil. Neil is the first guy she's let close enough to her to feel these feelings. I think she inadvertently started to depend on him and when this turned into trust, loyalty and now love even she doesn't know.

She says her relationship with Neil is of "Wafa" for her. But that alone won't make you come back to a man. She doesn't realize that the thing holding her to Neil is her love for him. If this relationship was just a "Bandan" as in a "Bond" then she could have broken it before. But this relationship is in the Heart. It's a Dil Ka Rishta, not Kagaz ka rishta. That is why she cried when she got the divorce papers, why she cried when she signed it, and why she didn't take her sindoor off even after signing it. Because in her heart, Neil was still her husband.

She loves him but has not realised her feelings. She doesnt know this is love. But Neil does. He knows love and he knows that's what he feels. This time when he saw her standing there, he almost tripped his Mother to get to her. I think that was symbolism too. Ma da ladala will even go against Mother for his girl. This guy is Pyar main Pagal. Where as Avni is yet to realise "Ha yehi pyar hai!".

I really feel happy for our girl Avni - she will get to fulfill her adhoore dreams of a happy family and get to experience Love in its most beautiful form with Neil.(If CVs continue to nourish the characters beautifully as they are doing now ) She deserves this given the tragic childhood she has had 😊

@Mandy: You said it all.. Totally agree withyou on Neil and Avni's feelings for each other.

Also, I feel once avni realises her feelings she will give in everything to maintain her relation with neil. I am sure its gonna be intense.

Yup, yesterday the way Neil shoved his mom, is an indication that in future once he knows about her evil plans he will leave the Khanna house for Avni. If he gets to know she feels for him he will turn the world for her.

Neil yea he loves Avni since begining, it was a love at first sight for him, his heart always wanted to see Avni, his eyes kept searching for her but he didn't realized this fact or i should say he didn't want to realize the fact that he is in love once again as he was scared of his betrayal to his first love. But he wanted to stay close to her so he named his possessiveness and restlessness as spying, on little clues he made a theory that she is definitely behind something, yes she was but that was all a reason for him to stay close to her. He realized his love when he was scared that he will lose his love once again, yea i am talking about smoke bomb scene where he called her as Juhi. This was the incidence which made him realized that he didn't want to lose her so from that scene his emotions sat on fire. And his journey began!

And Avni from very begining she was against men and love, because her past was a bid example for betrayal, her mother got the betrayal from her love and from her man, and not only Asha, Avni was also the victim of her father's cowardness. So her mindset was never about that so he never think like that. And yea Neil was a police cop so yes she disliked him at first as he was a cop and he was disturbing her plans but later she realized he is a very good man. Neil proved her wrong that every men is is not like each other, he was the first man for Avni which she respects a lot in every manner, she respected him as a friend too, as a partner too, as a son too, for her Neil was very ideal man, a complete opposite to her father. She respected Ali too but as only friend but Neil was the one who made her compare that that this boy is not like her father. So she started to respect him.

And when she married him by fraudulently she was feeling bad because she was deceivng her good friend, she hate love and marriage but she always consider marriage as a sacred relationship which should not has any deception or wrong intentions both should have strong trust relation and she was breaking her rules as she had not any option. She was in guilt but when she got to know that Neil knows her identity and still didn't arrest her but he wanted to help her. From that point Avni was emotionally attached to him, she slowly falling for him but she named her love as 'his ehsaan' and then she was in the stage that she will be far away from him she was feeling empty but why, she is still in the stage to feel the love.

And yea as @firsttimehere talked about marriage knot so yea it was very symbolic and this is the way their relation will proceed.

And i am very attached to their love journey👏😳

Well said it was always evident early on that Neil had feelings for Avni, he always tried denying it but actions always speak louder than words. Neil was a goner from the start and Neela could see how much he loves Avni. As for Avni it makes sense that her feelings for Neil started after their marriage, this is a girl who never had any intention of falling in love lets be real she didn't even believe in it! For Avni it was hard to trust anyone especially a man but slowly she observed that Neil was different. I still remember when she saw Neil stand by Riya before the wedding, she was aware he did not love Riya but still he showed her respect. Neil has always proved himself to be different from the man her father was and slowly he made a place in her heart. Avni has let that guard down she has seen she can have a loving family, a loving husband, she can have everything that Neela and Ayesha craved for. I believe now Avni is finally seeing the vision Neela has seen for her, why she let this marriage happen and why she wants Avni to fight for this marriage.
