Hey!

As said, I will be posting here 3 shots of 3 rituals in my style from Sukor marriage!
Hope you all will like it!
It will be short, I mean more than 1000 words per part but don't wait for links between them as it will be just 3 rituals!

Hey!

As said here is the first important ritual according to me!

WEARING

"Come! Sit here!" Teju said moving a bit and giving enough space for Chakor, who accepted the offer without saying a word, but just smiling.

"For now let's select Engagement dress here" showing the dresses that are exposed in front of the Rajvanshi ladies and Chakor "Rest we will go shopping for better choices!" Added Teju.

"Hi(Sure)" replied Chakor as her cheeks tinted a light color of rose thinking about Suraj and rituals as the sales man adjusted the mirror in front of her. As Chakor lifted her head to see if the mirror is in correct position, she noticed the man of her life standing behind her, in the stairs, seeing her reflection with a smile on his face.

Suraj with his right hand index finger made a shape which looked as a round and joined his index with the thumb making 'Super' as a action.

As Teju and everyone were busy in discarding the not needed dresses, she smiled shyly at his reflection and asked him with the movement of her head and eyes to join them.

As he had blocked his hand over his chest, admiring her beauty, he freed his right and showed the place where he is standing and pronounced slowly in a way she can get "I WILL STAND HERE AND HELP YOU CHOOSE"

She shook her head in Indian style of affirmation.

"Chakor! See this red one! Look if you like it!" Teju interrupted unintentionally the interesting eye to eye conversation her son and her future daughter in law were having.

Chakor took the dress and put it over her shoulder to check the color complex, even before she can see her reflection, she saw him shaking his head negatively, mouthing 'Simple' She smiled and get it back in her hand, seeing Chakor taking it immediately Teju got that this is not the one, so passed a blue one 'GOOD BUT SEE SOMETHING DIFFERENT' is the message she got for this one!

Like this 15 minutes passed and 8 dresses rejected with different reason.

For the first time Chakor is giving importance to dress and that too to his wishes, which made her frustrated for not being able to get one they both liked.

Luckily, no one noticed Suraj as the preparations for the engagement were going on full swing and everybody was busy in something!

"It would have been better if Suraj was adamant to fix the engagement date this close, we could have went for Shopping!" Teju said as there are only few clothes that they didn't check.

"I have 2 new sets of lehenga which arrived yesterday only! I will just get it!" The seller said as he ran to his vehicle outside to bring it.

'Choose or let me choose!' Chakor mouthed him being exhausted if this few minutes trial.He just nodded and the seller came with two big bags, Suraj showed through his hand motion to check the second one to Chakor.

"Bhaiya(Brother) Show me the second, flower pattern dress please!"

"Ji Madam!" He said as he opened it and in first sight itself a smile appeared on Chakor's face and Teju was happy that this dress will be the best one for the function.

As Chakor took the dress and posed with it, she got the thumbs up from Suraj and when she turned all smiling, forgetting her surroundings, she saw that he wasn't there. And workers were fixing flowers on the hand rail of the magnetic stairs.

Her face fell in disappointment.

"Didi! What happened? Is this dress not okay?" Hearing her little sister's question, she brought back the smile and said that this the one she wants to wear.

Others bought saris and the seller left after getting a big amount.

Time passed and evening arrived, one by one the guests started to arrive. And Suraj was already on the stage waiting for his love.

As Chakor came down from the stairs in the floral lehenga, he was more than mesmerized by her beauty.

He was just standing like a statute until the moment he got a small pinch from his love who is now standing by his side, raising an eyebrow.

"No words to say!" He said coming out of his dream land, running his eyes up and down.

"Same" she said seeing him matching her dress in this short time.

She imagined what would have old Suraj do to get the tailor stitch the his dress on time and with needed element and a smile broke on her lips.

"Am I the reason for that smile?"

"In a way!"

He saw her with a questioning look!

"I just imagined what would my Suraj, if he was the same old one, would do to make the dress stitched on time!"

He passed his hand in his hair with a sly smile "He would have pointed the pistol to threaten his life to get it on time!"

"Exactly!" And she started to laugh a little, lately joined by Suraj.

"You both look great together!" Vivaan complimented and Imli who was standing by her hubby's side smiled and nodded!

Teju and Kasturi were feeling emotional and did the Kala Teeka(to remove and avoiding bad eyes) from their children.

The auspicious time was announced and both the mothers presented the ring to their children.

Suraj was the first one to get it.

Chakor looked at him suspiciously as he distanced himself a bit from her.

He went on his knees, with his head held high, locking his eyes with her's as everyone smiled happily and Chakor stood still not knowing he will this shandhar(grand) proposal in front of others

"You bring the best out of me!

You bring the worst out of me!

Life have never been like this before meeting you! (Getting to know you)

Life can't be better than this after meeting you!

Want to spend My Whole Life With You!

Want to make You My Universe!

Will you be there for me?

Will you be by my side forever?

Will you be mine?

Will you marry me Chakor?" Presenting the elegant ring in front of her.

With tears in the corner of her eyes hearing him, she nodded her head as she went on her knees and showed her hand for him to make her wear the ring.

And with the round of applause echoing the place, she made him wear his ring.

The proposal lines are my own proposal! I mean I got a dare to propose my sister through WhatsApp and I wrote my proposal in 5 minutes in 2 versions, one of it is for my love when I will propose and another for my sister by just changing few words.

I let you decide which one I used here! LOL

Here is the 2nd part of rituals!

APPLYING

"I don't know why Mai, Bhapu (mother & father) accepted to do haldi here!" putting her earring on her left ear as she was sitting on the bed in the spare room, facing the door as she and Suraj couldn't see from now on and he will be going to his room once his haldi ceremony is finish, which is the reason she is not in their room. Old room or future room, it's a room and that's it!

"He doesn't like to speak through phone to me and I couldn't see him face-to-face!" getting the other earring "What is the need of this kind of function when you can't see each other freely!" pouting she finished with her earrings and went for her necklace set and suddenly felt a gush of fresh air hit her half bare back thanks to her sari blouse "I need to tell Suraj to renovate this window!" without turning, she said to herself shaking her head as she remembered her childhood events when she used this window to enter the haveli (mansion) and even once she got caught by Suraj after she came back from her long years of disappearance.

"Your wish is my order meri hone wali Biwi(my would-be wife)!" with the sudden manly voice she is used to, she jumps and stands on her feet, facing the man who is now fully inside the room, closing the window by which he came inside, using his left hand only.

As he turned to her side, she turned to the previous direction saying "You are not allowed here!"

"Who else is allowed to come and grace you, my love?" as he started to move towards her, going around the bed.

"You aren't allowed to see me before marriage, so go to your room!"

"I will not see your face!"

"Then?" by now he was standing behind her after putting the bowl he collected from the side table in the room on the bed.

"This!" he held her wrist as she made a move away from him and pushed her towards himself making her back collide with his hard chest.

She wriggled in his hand, trying to free her right hand as she felt something cold move on her bare waist, making her shiver, knowing it is his hand she held it with her left and stopped the action.

"You can't do this!"

"What I can't do Hone wali Biwi?" He questioned her innocently.

Trying to remove his hand from there "This!" She s**ttered as she tried removing his hand from the saftey place of her but couldn't as she felt him trace nose on her shoulder, making her week with his approches.

"Don't you like this!" He asked seductively as he started to trace patterns on the back of her right hand while moving his left more in to the darken places of her waist, pulling her more in to him, with not even a space for a bit a air to pass between her back and his front.

Leaving her hand, he applied mehendi, all along her arm while she gripped her saree for support, not knowing that his arm around her waist is the only support which is keeping her stable.

He joined her left cheek with his right one as she closed her eyes feeling new tingling sensations and her lips started to tremble "What about this!" His voice was husky without his knowledge as he himself lost his mind feeling the closeness with her.

Moving his cheek in a circular motion, he moved his other hand to her other cheek and massaged it with the back of his hand, making goosebumps appear all over body with all contacts she is having with him.

From there he slide his hand to her shoulder and makes her turn, giving space between their body.

Making her face inches apart from his, his right hand goes around her form to give her the needed support while with his left hand he lifts her chin to get her eyes to his level "Open your eyes Chakor!" he said so softly that even flowers would have blossomed.

Slowly she opened her eyes to be only locked by his.

Seeing his magnetic eyes scanning her, she s**ttered her emotions "I love you!"

He smiled his magical smile and kissed her forehead before joining it with his, saying the same three beautiful words which made her heart flutter.

This is not the first time she hears him say these words but each time he says it, she feels completed.

More than completed, he feels to come alive each time she says her feelings.

He held her right cheek in his hand "Even the moon will shy away seeing you today!" Listening to his complement, she hugged him shyly.

"Someone told me to go away few minutes before!" He said it just to be pinched in his side.

"Ouch! Jungli Billi!" As his arms circled her form while hers rested around his neck and back.

They stayed like that for minutes, just listening to the music of their beating hearts and their breaths along with the background music they hear from the outside.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Didi! Everything is ready for your Haldi!" With the voice of the unexpected guest, the couple got to separate. "Open the door Didi!"

Suraj peeked her forehead and made his way to the window, smirking to himself with the satisfaction of his work.

As he he open the door and put his leg on the other side, he addressed to his Hone wali Biwi who was standing like a statute, not knowing what to do "Check your beauty before opening the door Chakor!" with a glint in his eyes.

Not understanding why he said that, she turned to her right to face the mirror, once she was sure that the window was closed.

"Didi! Time is going on! Let me in, I will help you!"

"No No Imlu! Just 2 minutes! I I'm coming!" avoiding the shock she felt seeing her form in the mirror!

"He is going to see the real Jungli Billi when I get him alone!" Taking a cleaning cloth by her dressing bag, she cleaned her cheeks, forehead and waist which had a good amount of Haldi.

"Didi! Did Suraj said where he is going? Vivaan is searching him since the time he disappeared after he was done with his Haldi!"

"No no Imlu!" She s**ttered "He must be busy with his handsome face which is going to get beautiful marks for ruining my beautiful makeup!" She huffed to herself and made her way to go out of the room.

"Finally my Chakor is back to me!" he said secretly to her as they were standing for Teju to welcome them in.
"Welcome to your home Chakor beta!" Teju said with a big smile, passing the aarathi taal (welcoming plate) to Bijili.
As Chakor gently pushes the kalash(pot) filled with rice and puts her feet in the plate filled with kumkum, Suraj holds her hand and stops her from moving away.

With this sudden action of his, everyone including KN looks at him questioningly.
"You can't enter!" he said calmly connecting his eyes with hers.

"What is this?"
"What are you doing Suraj?"
"Why halting the ceremony now?"
And a few more questions raised with his action.
And along with that question, one stayed in his mind an that question of from his wife: "What are you playing at now?"

Without replying to any of the questions asked by his family members and not breaking his eyes contact with her, he snakes his around the back of the lady who is looking at him with pure admiration and love. He bends a little and lifts her in his hands, making the red coloured water to splash a bit on the frame of the door.

"Everyone is seeing!" she says still her eyes only for hers while people around them started to smile at the couple.
"Let them see now as all other games will be played privately!" he whispered to her in a way that she is the only person who can hear him.
She blushed hearing him as words stuck in her throat.

"Leave her down Suraj! She needs to perform other rituals too." Teju warned her son with a smile playing on her lips which made her warning to be more like a statement or information.
"She will do it from here!" he said with a smirk.
"Surj! Leave me down!"
"I will never leave you!"
"Just for few minutes!"
"Not even for a second!"
Her emotional smile grew wider and wider hearing each word from him.

"I think we don't have any choice!" a relative said.
"Come here!" Teju said as she got a plate from Girija and stood near the main entrance where few handprints were visible.

Suraj carried Chakor up to that place and Chakor staying in her husband's hands made her handprint on the wall.

"Priest gave the muhurat(good time) for ring game today itself, so both of you sit on either sides of the big pot." Teju said showing the big golden color pot set in the middle of the hall room with places to sit around.
Suraj nodded and carried Chakor until to the place and made her sit.
Kasturi came to their side and put kaala teeka(black mark) behind both of their ears to avoid all bad eyes (and omens).
"Always stay happy!" she said and moved as Suraj made his way to the other side smiling at himself, remembering their first time ring fishing ceremony.

Teju came back accompanied by Girija, who was holding a plate with a velvet box and rose petals in it and Bijili, who was carrying a big dish with milk.
The trio prepared the game while Chakor looked at her husband with a questioning look as she sees him with a smiling smirk.
He mouthed "Nothing!"
And it was at the right moment as the game is ready to play.

"As you all know! Whoever picks the ring first will rule the relationship!" she said as she made herself comfortable near Chakor "Suraj! You are my life but I will be on Chakor's side always!"
"We are on our Dhamadh(Son-in-law) side!" Kasturi said and went to Suraj's side.
"Ahaan Ahaan! He is the one who is going to win!" Bhuvan added!

And like this all the people took one side or the other, taking everyone's attention including the newly married couple.

Once everyone settle the game begin as both entered their hand in to the white liquid covered with petals.
They searched and searched but couldn't find.
People around them encouraged both.
As the dish is bigger in size, to reach the other side, they both needed to go a bit forward and bend their head.
They searched there and when nothing was found, they lifted their head and

Dang!

"Ahhhaa" 2 voices echoed.

Both their head collided and they massaged with their free hand while the other one was searching.

"They can't even search a ring without getting in problems!" Ranjana said sarcastically but Teju corrected saying:
"Do one more time and life will be a bliss!"
And the lightly pressed their head together as said by Teju.

With this event Chakor remembered the haldi event and searched for his hand inside the pot and pinched it!

He opened his mouth to scream but got aware of the surrounding and stopped his action.
He roamed his eyes over the crown to see if anyone saw the small painful moment and when his eyes crossed Vivaan, he saw his brother wink at him!
"What?" his mind screamed.
He looked back at his brother to see him smile slyly.
Suraj shook his head lightly and held his wife's hand under the petals.
She tried to take her hand away from his but he was holding her strongly.

As he saw her frowning and glaring at him, he left the hand and started to go for the treasure hunt.

Finally she felt a piece of metal and re-passed her fingers over it to confirm.
She smiled her victory smile and held a part of it and lifted it up on the same time as her husband.
"Got it!" he said enthusiastically seeing around.
As he saw everyone's face in shock he turned back to see Chakor glaring at him!

"I found it first!"
"I found it first!" he said.
"Both of you found it!" Vivaan said.
"What is the need of this game when they both win each time they play!" Ranjana commented as she got up from there and left.
KN who was seated in his royal chair didn't even give 0.01% of his attention to this event as his mind was busy in calculating his next move.

As Suraj was firing Ranjana with his eyes, Chakor pulled the ring from his hold and made her victorious smile appear again.
"I got it now!" she said as she forwarded her body a little and held his right hand.
"This is for you!" she said as she made him wear the ring.

"I wanted you to wear it!" Suraj said as he tried to remove it but Chakor pushed his other hand away and shook her head negatively.
With no other option, Suraj accepted the ring with a heavy breath.

The rituals arrived to an end and guests started to disappear.

Teju leaves Chakor alone in her new/old room and goes from there smiling shyly.
Once she confirmed the door is closed, Chakor gets out of the bed and pulls out her bag to get her previous young lady get up dress and wears it.
While putting back her bag in it's place, she finds a small wrapped box there.
Taking it in hand she makes her way to the bed, in her black pant, yellow tops and green scarf and settles down.
Getting the red velvet box out of the gift wrappers, she finds the number 15 on top of it.

"Is there 15 hidden things or 15 means something?"
"More than 15 hidden surprises for you!" Suraj said as he entered the room, surprising her.
As he locked the door and turned, he remarked her dress and said "You are still my Pataka(bomb) girl! You will taste as Teekhi mirchi(Spicy Chilli) or Meethi makka(Sweet corn)?" his line might be formulated as a reply to an unasked question but the truth is he is asking the question to himself.
Saying those words, he came closer to Chakor and pulled her by her hand, taking by her waist as Chakor's hand settled around his neck.

"I think I have to taste!" he said it just to get pinched on his shoulder.
"Ouch! What is this habit of pinching?"
"The 1st one is for spoiling my haldi make-up!" referring to the pinch he got while searching the ring "Now! It's for talking shamelessly to me!" as she massaged the place where she pinched.
"You are the only one allowed to hear my shameless talks and I will be talking like that only to you!" he said as he kissed her forehead.
"By the way, what is in this box?"
"Open and see!"
She removed her hand and distanced from him to be only span 180 by him as he encircled his hands around her and made his head rest on her shoulder.

"Why these many gifts?"
"To welcome my beautiful wife, Mrs. Chakor Suraj Rajvanshi!"
"Hmmm! So how many in total!"
"One for each month since we met in this beautiful dress of yours!" as his thumb started to do circles in the place where it is.
"Okay! I'm going to search for it!"
"Searching is for after! Now, it's time for Playing!" as he removes the box from her hand and effortlessly throws to the same place from where Chakor pulled it out and spun Chakor like a spinner and lifted her in his hands to begin their happy marital life.
