That is precisely what I was about to say. Kangana for the longest time was typecast as the troubled drug addict. At the time I was worried for her. Will she ever come out of that image? Luckily she managed to do something different later. But PC was fresh for me. She carried the film on her shoulders. Her dialogue delivery, attitude, anger, expressions were on point. Kangana only played the victim. Remember PC had to deliver both the victim and the survivor. Or else the film would have been labeled bias as many of Madhur Bandarkar films have in the past, especially "Heroine" were they only show the dark victimized side.
