Well it is not question of who acted better. We are talking about whether Kangana's role gained more attention from media and public or not. Priyanka obviously had a great role, there is no denying but here we are talking about how where both received when the movie released. See had people not praised Priyanka, she would not have had a NA, an swept every possible awards. It is like comparing the performances of Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster in silence of the lamb(note I am not comparing there performance with Kangana or Priyanka, but the situation). Anthony Hopkins almost unanimously stole the thunder, did it meant Foster was bad, or people did not cared for her performance. No it was received with much praise, but Hopkins performance was more attention grabbing. Same was the situation with Kangana in Fashion.

Both were good but Kangana had a swag that completely blew me over. Kangana' screen presence was fab and she dominated every frame

I think both actresses were excellent, but it had to be easier for PC. She is a Miss Universe, she could do the ramp walk in her sleep. I do not consider Kangana a great beauty and do not know if she had any modeling experience , but wow did she own the ramp in the Marjaawan song in front of seasoned models. Add to it the character she was playing. There was a rawness to Kangana in Fashion, sorta like the Gia character played by Angelina.

Not overshadowed but somehow she was more impactful in her scenes. After the movie ended, I remembered her more
