Can't help but think back to these classic episodes where the girl gang bonding was ACTUALLY fun cuz the girls all shared such natural and FUN camaraderie together...whether it was this horror challenge epi when Malika and Sumo were there:

Different sets of girls yet both times it was so much fun...why? Cuz the laughs didn't feel forced or resting on characters that have been forced into the narrative out of nowhere...or perhaps everything was just more fun without the official tag of "OBahu" in the mix...Anika was allowed to be her fun self and the girls actually used to enjoy each other's company, there was a natural fondness b/w all of them...unlike the current situation where the girl gang scenes look contrived while the OBros scenes steal the show with the baby.

As usual, the writers couldn't manage to find a good counterbalance to the OBros ka bond for the girls as well...jin logon ke saath tha (*cough* Sumo *cough*), unko Gul Maata ne show se hi nikaal diya😆

I cannot stand this bhavya esp when she is dancing on my head at the cost of saumya and now anika bhi why are anika and gauri used as props now while this random girl who is a nobody to anyone bosses around jaise sabki maa hai ?

The old girls had so much chemistry so much apna pan ek genuine likeable factor they all felt like family members not of oberois only but I felt like they were just like my fictional friends too they were so relatable and fun the vibe was real the magic was real and now sadly all is gone tai tai phiss with the amount of forced nature of these scenes

I am sorry you can call me a whinny kid but I cannot stand this bhavya esp when she is being made into this new lead of sorts while my anika stays in the shadow No NOT BUYING IT NOT Going to keep quiet

Haven't watched the episode and not sure if I will watch it or not just because I find no story these days, however, as per Harneet's latest tweet she can't cater so many demands in 1 episode. Not sure whose demands she's catering with this random baby track right now.

As far as girls' bonding goes, those initial episodes had a natural charm which is completely missing right now from the show.

I can't say there was a proper story at that time too, but right now, it feels like despite of having a well progressed story (and multiple open tracks)of 320+ episodes, the writers are struggling to keep audience glued to the show and hence these futile and forced tactics.

If I say a lot, it will become a rant and this post will be a target, so I'll keep it short..

According to many surveys conducted by fans of IB, Saumya is missed by almost 90% of the fandom! 😊 And creators, here is your market research as well! 😆

And there was a time when girl gang gave us cheapde, Stone Singh Oberoi and Saumya ke Surveys along with OBros ke Kulhaad sessions! I miss the Mallika track! 😊

I loved those old episodes but even today's episode was good..

The focus here is obros so let them steal the limelight

BTW I miss sau.ya too but I have accepted gul isn't getting her back

LOL I guess she is trying to cater to the demands of "equal screen space"...and in the process stalling all individual tracks...I wouldn't even care much if the girl bonding scenes actually had something to them...but it was extremely weird to see Bhavya trying to lead the girl gang just cuz she's a cop...she isn't even a part of the family and she's busy bossing the other two bahus around😕😆

Atleast in Malika, Sumo and Anika's case there was a clear genuine friendship right off the bat also cuz SC, Neha and SJ had instant chemistry together. Even Navina and SC were good together.

I can understand it's hard for them to keep the freshness going after 300+ episodes but when we get episodes like today where the boys still got pretty good scenes and Anika was stuck with two people who are just not as fun as Sumo and Malika were, well the contrast tends to stand out. They had something to their interactions beyond just wanting to spy on the boys...

Omg yesss! Cant emphasize how many times I have watched that drunk party 😆 God the comedy was hilarious and the girl gang and my faves- Mallika and Annika together. It truly felt like they liked each other, perhaps SC & SJ's real friendship was shining through or whatever. But God, the hilarious letter they wrote.
On a second note, Annika and Gauri are fun to watch too but Bhavya is just an eyesore for me. It's really annoying how she behaves like Rudra's wife and how much they are treating her like one

Exactly👍🏼...but they only believe in the "market research' that provides them convenient excuses to flip the storylines...LOL real market research ka kya karenge yeh log😆

Malika track had the best bit of girl bonding in this show without a doubt...SC, Neha, and SJ are like a house on fire together😆

haha that drunk party was epicness indeed...the letter is a classic😆😆

I like Shrenu, she's a very sweet girl but Gauri as a character really doesn't have much to her...still, I would prefer her over Bhavya anyday too...Anika-Gauri were sweet together in the previous MS epis but ever since Bhavya has arrived, the girl gang scenes are just not fun...her character makes no sense in the story especially cuz she's behaving like a bahu and part of the family without even being related to them😕
