This is day 3 of my studiously avoiding IB on TV (I have turned into an non-paying online customer😆) coz they insert Bhavya in almost every freaking scene with the two leads. The sense of entitlement shown by that character🤔...imagine yourself moving into somebody's house and freaking lord over everyone there...u will be chucked out of the house with a kick on your rear-end ...Rudy ki toh full-on beizzati done by her on a regular basis, yesterday toh even Om was shown the lip by her! Now only Shivaay has managed to escape unscathed from her reprimands/lectures (or maybe not coz i FF a lot of her group scenes as well).

And GUL Maatey showing a character chugging protein, exercising in full traditional styling, citing law at the drop of a hat, kicking down doors while screeching incessantly, does not an ACP make! Combined with Mansi's acting (sorry but compared to the other 2 FLs, her acting is subpar) does not help matters. IB is a family drama that works on parody mode...and from whatever I have seen Bhavya seriously lags behind in the comedy quotient...a fact which becomes glaring when she is put in the same scenes with SC and SP. And the character needs serious tweaking to be integrated into the group of well-adjusted cast.

And lol at ppl blaming Saumya for troubling Rudra and easily excusing his continuous barbs on her physicality...yahaan pe ppl get so aggressive and abusive and go on a rampage if you even comment on a hair being out of place on their favourite fictional character...but Saumya shouldn't have fought back when he continously put her down by calling her fat! Oh, the irony!!!!!😆

This baby track will most probably get them some jump in numbers but I give it 2 to 3 weeks tops before the TRP starts dropping like flies and they are back to focussing on the leads. After some time they will either have to tweak her character or sideline her coz if "the pack" changes channels (as suggested by some of her admirers) the show will shut down.😃

PS: I love how GOT references can be thoosoed into everything!😆

I dont know what jhol jhapatta has happened in bw the 16 pages, so I am just pouring my frustration over the forced girls gang. Madam Harneet needs a break !! Such lazy and lame writing to chipkao the girls.🥱 I mean ...aise kya desperation hain🥱...I thought i might give Anika and Gauri bonding a chance but reading the updates, I feel like all these are better alone . I adore Annika but even this khidkitod girl can't make me sit through the combined scenes. SC has top notch comic timing but other two girls are no match to her. Aniru is the best combination in comedy ! Have some mercy, let chutki be some other unknown girl, I am tired of this girls gang !!

The few scenes Gauri had with the other Oberois looked promising. [Esp ShivRi, they legit give out bro-sis vibes] they could show Shivaay & Gauri's heart to heart, they could explore RuRi's goofiness together, and ofcourse the camaraderie between Anika & Gauri but no we are getting these Naari Shakti thing which acts as a sour spot in an otherwise good episode.

The girl gang interactions should be fun regardless the topic or situation but they aren't. I understand the jokes and know when I'm supposed to laugh, but it's not funny. I just can't connect with them with the way their scenes are written. I can overlook the fact there is no history between them yet, but its lacks substance and comes off too childish. This is the cast that made something as silly as hand-holding under a table endearing, but these interactions seem artificial in comparison.

I don't like how is someone is always bossing someone around. It really annoys me and I don't care who it is, period. All 3 of them are adults, who can think for themselves no one should be ordering or be ordered around by anyone. This is not woman bond despite what Gul and her writers think 😆 I don't understand why the writers make them so juvenile in order for them to bond.

There is no communication, but oddly enough there is so much understanding over each other plights. Empathy I can understand because it's easy to empathize with people even if they are strangers, but the understanding I don't get. Anika has no idea what Gauri went through these past months and vice-versa. Bhavya was introduced recently so she definitely has no idea what the others went through. The writers skipped the initial bonding phase and jumped right into besties without even bothering to build up the emotional connection, which is the major reason for the disconnect.

Another major turnoff is that every time they gather its rarely about anything other than the men. It's in media everywhere that all woman do is fight over men or spend their every waking moment discussing men. We have other interests, hobbies, and topics of conversations 😆 It's bad enough that the FLs are so under-developed in IB, but Harneet took it a step further by even hijacking their time away from their leads.Their entire conversation is spent discussing, complaining, and spying on them 😆 These girl chats would the perfect time to develop their characters or share their feelings so we can understand them better as an audience. Have them talk about themselves, their fears, or their past, but no one is opening up because they all strangers while pretending to act like sisters 😆

Honestly, I don't think this awkwardness or forced vibe will go away anytime soon. The writers need to rethink their approach to the female bonding.
