Who doesn't love Harry Potter? I know I grew up on it and am not ashamed of my obsession with it. I thought it would be fun to sort my favourite characters from show into their Hogwarts houses. What do you think? Let me know.

you belong to gryffindor
where dwell the brave at heart
their daring nerve and chivalry
sets gryffindors apart;
Avni Ayesha / Anannya Verma Khanna
There is no two ways about it, our intrepid heroine is a gryffindor through and through. Brave, reckless, loyal and chivalrous - she fits all the categories!
Fatima Bano / Nanno
When I think of a lioness, I think of no one more fiercely protective and brave than our darling nanno - never too coy to dish out real talk to our friendly neighbourhood creep a.k.a Ali or even stand up eye to eye to Dayawanti Mehta, Fatima Bano is a true gryffindor - in heart and in soul!

Or yet in wise old ravenclaw
if you've got a ready mind
where those of wit and learning
will always find their kind
ACP Neil Khanna
Is there anyone more witty, intelligent and open minded than Neil is, at least on this show? I don't think so. By using cool logic to overcome the most tenuous of situations, he has shown himself to be worthy of the blue and silver robes!
Harleen Khanna / Bebe
A woman who single-handedly set up Khanna Industries? Who has a good sense of what makes the person good or bad? Bebe has proven herself to be wise and stolid - a true symbol of those in Ravenclaw

You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
Inspector DD
Has anyone proven himself to be more loyal and steadfast than DD? I didn't think so! A worthy addition to our roster!
Aman Ayesha / Amol Mehta
A poor boy misled by his evil grandmother, he now shows signs of stolid dependability! Who'd have thought. But even when he was in his grandmother's camp, we could not deny these characteristics. A true-blue hufflepuff

You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
Neela Parikh
I see your wide-eyed disbelief - but hear me out? Neela Parikh is intelligent, and I definitely considered putting her in ravenclaw. But let us not forget the traits of Slytherin house - cunning, ambition and pride and Neela has all of those traits. Let us let go of our stereotype of the house (I'm a slytherin myself and I swear I'm not planning anything nefarious) and admit that those traits are necessary, especially when dealing with an antagonist like Dayawanti Mehta
Dayawanti Mehta
Is anyone really surprised? This woman is Voldemort and Umbridge rolled into one because she's just horrible. Anyone who can perform such acts of atrocities against a CHILD is a truly horrible lady and I am loath to put her in my house. Unfortunately, everyone gets their share of rotten eggs and there is nothing we can do anyway.
That's all folks! Deliberately left out some characters, like Ali/Rhea/Shweta/Prakash etc. Where do you think these people were sorted? Do you agree with my sorting? Do you disagree? Let me know!
