I find Aamir to be a good actor but not as extraordinary as many make him out to be. For me, Aamir's films are better than Aamir the actor and in the end, his films make him look better than he really is. His choice in scripts, his consistency, his dedication to push himself as well as having his contemporaries suck with their choice of work - makes Aamir look like he's the best around. In reality, most of Bollywood is just too busy picking lousy scripts and wasting away their talent while foolishly chasing numbers. Aamir's running his own race with little to no competition due to the reasons above.

I personally believe Ranbir is a lot more gifted. He has way more sincerity and effortlessness in his work. Unlike Aamir, Ranbir isn't as consistent...at least not yet. He hasn't cracked his code of success yet either. Put Aamir in an average to bad film (i.e Dhoom) and let's see how Aamir fares. Overall, it's Ranbir for me. He's only 10 years into his career. He has a lot of time to showcase more. Compare Ranbir's first 10 yrs to Aamir's, and I don't really see much competition. Aamir only got better post 2000 if you ask me.

They are going to say the same thing to Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar & Hrithik Roshan as well.

I'm not suprised by the ammount of votes that he has recieved. Aamir is miles better than Ranbir will ever be.
